In a world with no colour was a single resident known as the "Hunger of Hate", she had been banished from the world that connected humans and Monstra, 'Lukeko'.
The monster named herself Rumire, perhaps the time she spent alone lead her to come up with a name she was comfortable with, she could have changed but stuck with the same name for centuries; she was relatively tall, had long dark shaded hair, wore a dark fluted knitted dress over a light blouse, dark heeled court shoes and dark eyes void of anything.
The sky was unchanging, the trees all looked the same shade and the ground could be mistaken for concrete.
Few humans would appear in the world every now and again only to be devoured by the ever-so-unsatisfied monster.
Unfortunately, her knowledge of the world she resided in was wrong, and one day, there she saw, hundreds upon thousands of humans - they had been hiding - and none shared a face of fear, but a neutral, solemn one.
The army charged towards her and her instincts had gotten the better of her as she flew into the sea of men and women.
Eventually, after a long hard fought battle, she was defeated and a familiar lady stood before her as they clench onto their necklace.
"I hope there's an afterlife for you, the mouth of hell is drooling to savour your sins."
The people leave as Rumire lays on the floor motionless for some time, however, something catches her attention - perhaps it was because she was experiencing death but the thing seemed so real, it was a light.
Rumire reached towards the light and there she noticed something other than a shade of grey.
"Colour!" Rumire smiled, negativity leaked out of her as the positivity soaked in, she finally had something to hope and look forward to, a tear rolled down her cheek and as the light faded, so did her consciousness.
—IN LUKEKO—
"Do you look forward to meeting new friends Rummy?" Aalet asked Rummy.
"Food!" she exclaimed with a face bursting with joy.
