Ive basically got the basics. Shary had to go home after shopping due to family matter. Most likely gotta be becuase of her frail mother. But besides that, she will be coming over tomorrow to hang out with me and possibly spill some family tea. Also maybe eat my food becuase during the weekend I wanted to make enchiladas rojas. Whenever

I make food she always comes over and eats it all, and we both just end up spilling drama of our families.

"Ok so I've basically got everything I need. Just a dog tag and dog shower essential and I should be done."

I look at my phone and open my calendar.

Monday, March 22 20XX-

Ozzie comes home.

Hmm, so she comes not this monday but the following monday. Okay so I have a week. Cool

Now that I'm done with today Im just gonna take a shower and go straight to sleep .

Its the next day, meaning its Saturday. The shop is closed because im a nice boss I'll have it closed during the weekend so my emplyees can enjoy it. Im in the kitchen preparing everything for tonight dinner. Shary is supposed to come in an hour. I've chopped the cabbage, tomatoes and potatoes. Also seasond the meat that I will grill. The sause is done and all I have to prepare is the enchiladas and serve.

I was gonna go use the washroom but the door bell rang. I grabbe my phone to check to see who it was because I wasnt expecting anyone until Shary got here later. Opening the camera app I see that it was Shary.

" What, she was supposed to come in an hour." I open the door to a tired but cranky Shary.

" What are you doing here, you werent due to come for at least an hour?"

" Sorry but I need to to talk to you." She says as she comes in and plops her self in the kitchen Island. 

"Mom would'nt stop pestering me about getting married and have kids. Im 26 years old im still young, sure I could get a boyfriend or something but im not ready yet, and when I tell her that she just rolls her eyes and starts picking on me." Shary lowers her head on the table and continues . " Do you have any beer or something, I need a drink." She says when she finishes her story

Poor Shary, for all the years I've known her, her family is really tough on her.

" I sure do, ill get it for you." I go to the fridge to get both of us a drink then I continue to finish cooking.

" Sorry for coming early, but I really needed to tell you about it." She says.

" Dont worry about it, I get it." I replied back.

" Listen, I know you have it harder than me, but have they tried reaching out to you yet." Shary asks looking at me sadly.

I stilled. Me and my parents havent talked in years. My mom is a traditional latin women and my step father is a homophobic piece of shit. Which I didn't know until after I had come out as gay. My mother couldnt handle that, she kept trying to tell me that it was just a faze, that it would'nt last. It was just supposed to be between me and her but after a couple weeks trying to convince me she ended up telling my step dad too. 

And shit hit the fan after.
