Weaving in and out of lanes on the highway. I cut off many cars and nearly crashed into others. My reckless driving left a symphony of car horns behind me. However, if she woke up and figured out my plan, the chaos she would bring would make this look like children playing with a racetrack.
Looking over at my GPS, my destination was 10 minutes away. Unfortunately, my exit is 1000 feet away on the far right and I’m in the far-left lane of the six-lane highway. If I miss that exit, who knows where the GPS will reroute me? I looked over to my right; there was a cluster of cars scattered throughout the lanes. I looked into my bat shaped review mirror; there was even a cluster of cars behind me. Fuck it. If I die, I die.
Turning my wheel towards the exit, I swerved to the opposite side of the highway; cutting off every car between me and the exit. With no time to slow down, I took the exit ramp at full speed, shooting straight into the connecting road. Luckily, I was in a more rural area and there were fewer cars on the road. Looking down at my GPS, my destination was the next right.
Pulling onto the dirt road, I saw the gate for the company Ghostchatter. Yes, the company with the app that you can send disappearing messages to people you know. I’m stuck in a streak with my Ex. Our streak is at 5,479 days and I can’t keep sending her chats anymore.
I drove through the gate; and continued down the dirt path. Since I’m constantly under her watchful eye, I didn’t have much time to do any deep research on the company. But from the information I gathered, Ghostchatter spends a lot of money on security personnel. I pulled out my pistol from my passenger seat. I don’t want to use this, but I will break this streak no matter what.
You’re probably confused and thinking, ‘why don’t you just stop sending chats?’
I’ve tried. She keeps paying to restore our streak.
Okay then, why don’t you just have a conversation with her?’
I’ve known her since we were 11. When she doesn’t get her way, she becomes a terrorist. Remember the motto: We do not. Negotiate. With terrorists.
'But if you hate this girl, why not just cut her off?’
If it were only that simple, dear reader. I would tell you our complicated history right now, but I’m in a bit of a hurry. I’ll make sure to explain everything later. All you need to understand right now is destroying the servers is my only solution to get away from her.
Parking my car in the lot out front, there were a few cars scattered across the lot. Good, there’s not too many people here. This should be easy.
Stepping out of my car, I straightened my tie, put on my pistol holder, then put my suit jacket over the top. I started walking towards the large, towering, rectangular building. The sliding doors opened to the lobby and there was a receptionist sitting at the front desk.
