REGULUS POV
When we arrived in the village, we were greeted by the village chief and a dozen villagers who were waiting for us, despite it being in the middle of the night. As soon as they spotted us they hurriedly ran towards my group, showering us in praises and thanks, the village chief was even crying tears of joy.
“T-Thank you so much you four! We offer you our sincerest gratitude! For this night and all the days you will stay in this village all the commodities will be free.” He said as tears ran down his face. The trio behind were left speechless as this could be the first time they have experienced this.
“We thank you for the offsayer sir. Although, that is an enticing offer….. would it be possible to request another reward?” I speak out as this could be a good time to take advantage of the situation.
“Of course, anything for you!” The man says as he wore a bright smile on his face.
“Equipment. Would it be possible to receive equipment as well?” I say as I leaned closer to the man.
“O-Of course! Anything for you…… the only problem I have is that our Forge does not have the best quality of weapons and armors.” His voice had a hint of nervousness as he said this.
“The quality is no problem, as long as you have them I will take it. But for now we will rest, I shall take a look tomorrow.”
The man nods in reply as he guides me and the others back to the inn. In there we were greeted by a large amount of food which consisted of porridge, mutton, cheese and barley. This was a good sight as the village chief did not lie about us arriving with a table full of food.
“Thank you once again, for tonight please enjoy yourselves!”
The four of us nodded in thanks as we sat down and indulged ourselves in the food. The meal was not so bad considering the state of the village, the porridge was quite tasty despite its ingredients being only vegetables. The barley on the other hand was very hard and it tasted old, as well as the cheese, its texture was very unpleasant for the mouth. But nonetheless the meal satisfied my hunger. Although, the same could not be said for the twins. They were very dissatisfied with the food, well I can’t blame them. They are of noble birth and eat luscious meals everyday so who can blame them.
Eventually the moon reached its peak and all of us went to sleep.

3RD PERSON POV
As the sun rose to the sky and as the rooster crowed, everyone in the village soon woke up and went on with their daily lives. The sense of fear that they bore everyday was gone, now that the Direwolves were slain they had nothing to be afraid of. The party ate breakfast which was beans, hot mutton stew and different kinds of fruits and vegetables. About an hour later they prepared to leave as they gathered their equipment, Regulus on the other hand was with the village chief as the two went to the Smithy.
“Here it is, although it is quite run down but we can still use this as a blacksmith’s Forge.”
The village chief was honest as the Forge was quite old and had a few holes in the roof, walls and floor, still it looked to be still in working condition. Inside there were a few weapons hanging from the walls and armor scattered around the room. Most of them were in bad or almost unusable condition, although a select few looked to be in able condition.
As Regulus searched around the room, he was quite disappointed at the state of the weapons and armor as most of them were almost rusted out of use. The select few that weren’t rusted out were either made in bad quality or it did not fit his way of combat.
“It seems that nothing here suits my way of play…..” Regulus said as he grabbed a breastplate, observing it.
“Ah then how about a new h-” The man was on the verge of saying something when Regulus abruptly interrupted, evidently captivated by something that had caught his attention.
It was a Zweihander, considered rare nowadays because of it being long surpassed by the famed sword of the north, the Claymore due to it being much heavier than the latter. Still, it was in good condition, no dents or chips were visible on the blade.
Regulus squats down and attempts to lift the sword. It was much lighter than he expected, which was quite unusual for a sword of this size. He raises it high above his head and swings it through the air.
“I’ll take it, it’s in good condition after all.” He said as he carefully put it on the ground as he grabbed a long piece of cloth and wrapped it around the blade as they left the Forge.
As they gathered at the village square, a small crowd of people gathered around the trio of adventurers; all saying their thanks to the three. But as Regulus and the village chief approached the crowd, the claps slowly focused on them; to former to be exact.
This made him flustered as he has never been applauded before.
After a few more minutes which included thanks, the unexpected giving of gifts and a few heart touching moments, the group all got up to the carriage as they bid the people goodbye.
“Hey, I was wondering if we could go first? Since our manor is only a short distance to the village.” Alicia asked as she took off her shoal.
“Of course, there’s no problem with that. I’m not in a hurry anyways.” Regulus responded.
She simply smiled in reply; which rattled Regulus a little, as she has never shown any positivity before this. After regaining his composure, he nodded in reply as the carriage started to move.
