It was good that Lia was quick, blocking the blow with her sword and attacking with a swift kick to her opponent's stomach. The assassin stumbled back, but quickly regained their balance and attacked again. The two fought with a large amount of blows, their weapons clashing and causing sparks to fly. The assassin was skilled and their movements were precise and deadly. The princess was no match at all, as her swordsmanship was much more advanced. The sound of metal against metal echoed through the Castle, the sound of battle heard for miles.
As the fight continued, it became clear that the princess had the upper hand and with a swift movement, Lia disarmed the assassin. Sending the assassin's dagger across the bedroom. The assassin stumbled back, their face now visible to Lia. It was a face Lia recognized very well - the face of the prince of their rival kingdom - the dark elves.
Lia couldn't think about it for long though, as the prince lunged at her with a hidden blade. The princess barely dodged, getting a deep bloody wound along her forearm. She attempts to counter his attack, but fails due to the pain of gash on her lower right arm. She drops her sword from her left hand, leaving herself defenseless, in order to grasp her right arm, leaning forward in an attempt to stop the blood. The dark prince quickly ran away and left through the window. That was a sign of his defeat. Lia had won.
Lia falls to the floor exhausted and Leo and Layla come running in. They say at the same time: "Lia, are you okay?!"
