《Hunting Spear》

[A new weapon has been created, user.]

Weapon grade: F-

Quality: poor 

[This hunting spear, while being very sharp, is also not in great condition due to the materials used in its creation.]

"Hmmm... poor quality does have me for a loop, but the sharpness isn't very bad," he replied after viewing that message.

  As he holds his head down, he creeps through the bus, marching towards the exit that seems to be a broken bus window at the front. An array of environmentally sensory information hit him at once; some of these are screams of suffering, the heavy scent of blood, and the sights of flames all over. 

   The bus seems to have crashed at Elletson Road, right next to a cake soap manufacturer's building, which seems to be overrun with green lizards. The same type of monster that is attacking the bus, same ones just crawling around killing and having their fill.

  Quickly, a loud screeching voice could be heard from above, it seemed the green lizard had spotted him. He was now seen as prey to the massive beast, and a large amount of bloodlust was aimed at him as a target. chosen as his newest target.

Jonathan started shaking with fear, and his mind began to wonder, with tons of questions bouncing around.

"This is it; I will finally face that green devil."

"But is my spear good enough to do so...?"

"The bigger question is, do I even know how to use this weapon?"

"What am I even doing at the moment?"

  These were all the thoughts running amok in Jonathan's mind; the constant fear and doubt seemed to be dulling his combat senses.

Suddenly, he took a deep breath and thought to himself that maybe one of his skills could help.

"What was it called again? I think its weapon something.

"Ahhhhhh, yes, it's called weapons knowledge." 

"Now how do I activate my skill? I never really done it before by myself."

This was all happening as the green lizard slowly approached him. The green lizard stretches out its claws, ready to slash at Jonathan. But at that instance, he shouted "weapon knowledge active."

Time seemed to be moving far more slowly than before, almost as if it were frozen.

Jonathan suddenly felt a mild headache, and while millions of images ran through his mind, These images showed people throughout history from different walks of life practicing the art of the spear, from hunters hunting boars to legionnaires forming a phalanx, All this happened within a fraction of a second in real time

"My head seems to be full of information," he thought to himself.

Time sped up to normal right as the lizard claw was about to strike. Jon held the spear as if he were a veteran of many battles. holding the spear at eye level, Jon thrusted towards the beast claw with all his might, piercing a hole right in the middle. A loud screech could be heard from the lizard, encouraging Jon to press his advantage. The lizard, enraged by the injury, retaliated in anger with its tail. Jon tried to block the tail whip, but the force was too great; he lost his footing and was sent sliding to the left.

 Luckily, he wasn't sent flying; he was able to stay upright and plant himself firmly for a counterattack. Jon switched from a thrusting stance to a slashing one, but the reptilian wasn't having it and swiftly attacked with its claws. Suddenly, there was blood splashing all over the ground.

Jonathan felt pain on his left side and looked down to see a gash there, caused by the lizard's claw

"Arrrgh...damn that hurt," he said while breathing heavily.

"I never thought it would be easy; even in a game, fighting with your first monster would be difficult for a level one player," he stated while still breathing heavily.

" damn it ....  my....head...my thoughts aren't coming in clearly due to all this pain, I need to clear my head somehow." He continues to huff and puff heavily.

    The green lizard stood ready to assault Jonathan a second time. Jon, though,was losing blood and was not able to stand as firm as before. There was a short staredown as the lizard took stock of Jon with minor respect in its eyes. Both enemies glared at each other, waiting for the other to make the first move to attack.

While the world's most intense staring contest was being held, Jon's thoughts started to run wild yet again. He started to think about his own situation, wondering how he would get himself out of it. Self-doubt began to settle yet again in his heart; these negative emotions were eating at him like a starving feral dog. All because of his injury caused by his mighty foe, he went and took a deep breath and shouted, " WHY I AM SUDDENLY BEING HOPELESS, WHY I AM SUDDENLY BEING SPINELESS!!! " 

"I HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR , I SHOULD HAVE STRONG FAITH THAT I WILL BE VICTORIOUS, I MUSTN'T FALTER NOR I MUSTN'T WAVER....I NEED TO PUSH PAST MY LIMITS!!" 

As he gripped his phone tightly in his hand, blood dripped from his wound like a leaky pipe. No longer doubting himself, he screamed another warcry, one that would activate a skill.

 "IGNORANT BLISS!!!" He screamed loud enough, causing him to cough due to his weakened state from blood loss. His smartphone lit up with a system message:

《Skill Active  Ignorant Bliss 》

[ All pain felt has been reduced, and all mental fatigue has been removed.You are now in a blissful state. ]

"Alright, I'm in a blissful state; my pain is all gone, and my head is clear of doubt and mental fatigue." He spoke confidently to himself while taking a fighting stance.

The green lizard lost its patience and decided to end their little staring contest. Then Jonathan also launches an attack at the beast as well, both moving towards each other in order to land an attack.

"This fight is coming to an end soon, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be the one to stand on top."
