So… I'm not sure how to explain myself right now. It's been bizarre. It just, it's just, no let me start over. 

    So I took up walking with this woman for a stretch of road. We split at the fork. Then I thought I saw her later down the path. 

   First I thought it was my mind playin tricks. Then I figured another robbery scheme, which, okay, I still have nothing unless you count a floppy hat and mismatched playing cards, whatever. 

   Oh yeah, I found another playing card, blue back instead of red, the seven of spades. 

      Anyways, this is the part where it gets weird. A tall guy stepped out in front of me, like tall on stilts tall. Might have been, was hidden under a really long cloak. Now there was some space between me and the guy, we were at an overpass of some kind, and I was on one side and he? she? Whatever, was on the other.

     So we just stood there for a while. Finally, it whispered 'Don't look behind you' then jumped off the overpass to who knows where. So that was freaky.

   The only thing I know that might of been behind me was the woman. But the whole time I was walking, I didn't hear anything. I didn't see anything either, though I didn't turn around. Felt creepy the whole time.

    Eventually, I got safely to a trading post. Boy, I had some kind of story for the owner! And would you believe it, I'm not the first. It's freaky. People have seen things on the overpass, flying and dying and who knows what. Owner thinks it's a cover for something illegal. 

     You know what scares me? With what's happened and all, I really hope so. 

    Last thing we need is something out of a horror story coming to life on top of everything else that's going on.

    You know what scares me more?

   I wasn't alone crossing the overpass. Back when I was walking with the woman, another fellow joined us. He was with me, slightly trailing behind, when stilts appeared. He looked behind, I saw him turn. Then he vanished. I froze. 

    It kinda looked like he ran off or was dragged off. 

    I'm not coming back here. Either something very elaborate and illegal is going on, or I don't want to know. There have been crazier things that have happened. Remember that time we saw that thing in the sky.

    I'm scaring myself a lot more than during the fact. I'm done with this. I hope you don't have whatever this is, wherever you are. Be safe.
