Ch. 2: To Manifest
As Fanakar got done keeping all the books on the table, he looked up from his bag. He scanned the room and thought, ‘I think starting off with an explanation on manifest should get the ones about to fall asleep, back up and awake’.
Akhidra picked his pen up and started entering details on the 8 layered sled energy construct Fushi made today against his simple back-pack swing at him. He wrote down that, ‘to his eyes it was like split second construction, but on hindsight his construct may have started from a pentagon he constructed on the expected first point of contact’.
He further wrote down, ‘he then expanded that layer into a sheet and copied it over for seven more times. At the end extended all the eight sheets into a semi open cylinder with no base or top along his left arm while keeping an elasticity factor he has deduced from his own practice of his manifest. This elasticity factor is an important factor to consider and figure it out while on the fly’.
Fanakar looked towards Fushi and Akhidra, and said, “Fushi explain and give us what you know about manifest. After his explanation, I want someone from any of the two rows to start adding on anything Fushi may have missed and then tell us about the categorization of manifests”.
At this point, Fushi stood up and said, “You asked for it teach.”
“Yup, I did, and if you explain it nicely you won’t have to hand me over the homework you were supposed to start before I woke up”, said Fanakar while he turned to face the board and picked up a board marker to write.
Fanakar knowing fully well that he will get everyone awake and up for a lesson.
“Ok, ok, so, listen here, people now we are going to learn it in a way that even if you had amnesia last night you will still end up understanding what a manifest is.-”, said Fushi.
A boy sitting by the window panes in the third row from front interjected, “hey, clapped up retort machine, teach asked for explanation not a monologue around the bushes and bees.”
“Huh! Kirit, I want a written 3 page long composition on manifest and magic by the fourth period, understood?”, said Fanakar turning back and looking at the jacked gym boy who just interjected.
“Ok sir”, said Kirit while staring out the window.
“Continue, Fushi, and be thorough”, said Fanakar as he turned back to face the board and kept on writing certain years after 2025 on the board.
“Yes, sir, and thank you Kirit for adding another retort to my dictionary”, replied back Fushi.
“As we are all in eigth standard now, we are supposed to have learnt to differentiate between magic and manifest. As some of the early manifest users were being called by sudden appearance of magic users during the sudden burst period of 2020 to 2026, by the name ‘magic usurpers’ but infact none of the manifest tap into the source of magic.”
Fushi went on further explaining, “So this raises the question what is manifest? To define it, you can say, a manifest is a person’s ability, power or result attained after having gone through a continuous practice of manifesting said power while this can easily be affected by the person’s desires or feelings at the moment or through this training they have chosen to follow. This affect of feeling and desires have effect on a person’s manifest only until they go through manifest awakening.”
Fushi creates a ruler inert energy construct while looking at the ruler the student two benches away in front of Akhidra has on their table.
“As such before attaining a manifest, a manifest attainment depends upon their desires, their want to have a power or ability very special and akin to magic but not tapping into magic or mana as called by magic users, and upon how intense a feeling they get in a moment.”
He goes on while bringing up his ruler construct up at each third or fifth word, “There is another pathway as described in manifest theory that a manifest attainment or manifest awakening depends upon that person’s manifest threshold, and a manifest threshold is specific and unique to a person.”
“This manifest while comparable to aura and magic is far greater and stronger as a person’s manifest can have the ability to grow that entirely depends upon the manifest laws that got crafted when that person went through manifest awakening.”
Fushi took a breath. Fanakar asked while turning around to face the class after he has written the random years, “are you done? Or should I be expecting the homework by the end of the period?”
“No sir, I have just started.”
“You have got 2 more minutes and you better do explain what manifests are like we just had amnesia, just like you said”, said Fanakar with raised eyebrows staring into Fushi’s eyes.
“Oh, sir, the intensity, I will end up confessing to love before-”
Fanakar straightens up and brings his left arm up. With his right arm holds his left arm’s cuff of his shirt.
“Uh, huh, so as I look like I will be dead either way so let’s explain what a manifest is”, said Fushi swallowing another joke he wanted to throw out.
Fanakar brings his arms back down and opens the first book he put down and then the other to each one’s index pages.
“A manifest is a special ability that can be very unique or may be already a similar manifest exist or existed. This is because a manifest while when viewed as a system or ‘manifest system’”, Fushi makes quotes sign in the air while continuing, “is a system which utilize a proven manifest energy that can only be accessed when a human being or a manifest altered humans like elfs, dwarves, dragonborns, rakshas and anim-humans after either a very desiring intense moment in life like facing off against a nuke going off in their face or by through training towards a very specific type of manifest they want to get by always thinking about it and learning as much about the concepts and things relative to it.”
“Yes, it’s possible to get a manifest while going up against a detonated nuclear bomb or heavy gunfire, as Fushi says, and there is also a fact that several manifests are subtle and their awakenings as well can be subtle”, interjected Fanakar.
Fanakar went on and said, “you can stop right there Fushi, and I want a one page detailed composition on types of manifest and their impact on human history and crash of space exploration. Yes, one page. I know you can go on and write a 50 page essay but the content there would only have about 4 pages related to the topic you are writing. Give me that composition after second period.”
Fushi nodded. Akhidra, who expected something similar may be given to his friend, just handed him the volume on history in ‘Encyclopedia to new possibilities’.
Akhidra gave Fushi a thumbs up, who just dead-eye looked at his friend like ‘bro, I can’t read this, save me!’
Akhidra repressing his laugh behind his hand; suddenly Fanakar said, “Ok, Akhidra, you will explain what is a manifest.”
