ROBOT:" good morning fellow survivors! today's task will now begin. please take a coat from this box, once you attain it you'll procced to begin. i wish  you all the best and i hope to see you at the gate."

ELLIS:" it didn't tell us what we're going up against this time." 

YUKIO:"guess we'll find out once we begin."

They all put on their coats then the walls around them disappeared. to their suprise, they found themselves surrounded by very tall trees covered in snow. addijah held out his hands to catch the snowflakes that were falling. he smiled and said

ADDIJAH:" snow!''

Ellis and yukio looked at addijah playing in the snow as he smiles brightly

ADDIJAH:" it's my first time seeing snow. i've always seen it in movies and cartoons and i someday wish i could see it for myself. guess one of my wish came true.''

Ellis and yukio smiled as they watch addijah lay down in the snow spreading his hands and feets apart. addijah got up, take a look around and stated

ADDIJAH:" this area is awfully quiet. let's go on ahead to see if we can find anything.''

They walked and walked until they came upon an opened spaced area. they saw a figure running towards them, trying to figure out what was running in their direction they waited until they could see the figure more clearly

YUKIO:" it's a guy! he looks terrified.'' 

ELLIS:"he's shouting. i think he's trying to tell us something but he's so far away i can't tell what he's saying.''

As the man gets closer they were finially able to hear what he was shouting

CARLOS:"ayudame! ayudame por favor! ( help me! help me please!)''

ELLIS:"he's crying for help.''

ADDIJAH:"what's he running from. i don't see anyone chasing him.''

They stood there looking at the man running towards them screaming for help. something immediately appears behind the man. the horrifying monster was massive with it's skin dark green, it has long sharp teeth, it's mouth was very wide, it's eyes was located on the side of it's head, it has two massive horns, four legs, a very long and pointy tail,it's ears were big and wide and hard as stone,  and it's body was very slimy. the monster grabbed the man by his shoulder with it's teeth, it throws the man up into the air, catches him in it's mouth and ate him. addijah, ellis and yukio stood there completely shocked by what they've just witnessed. the monster turned around and saw them standing there looking at him, the creature then proceeds to chase after them with a loud roar.

YUKIO:" oh shit! it's coming after us!''

They all started to run immediately fast as they could

ADDIJAH:" fuck! just how fast is this thing!" 

Ellis quickly take out the gun that he was carrying on his waist, he aimed the gun towards the monster's head and open fire. the bullet went straight through the monster's head killing it instantly. the creature fell onto the ground as it's purple blood leaked from it's head onto the snow

ELLIS:" whew! that was close! lucky thing i kept this on me.'' 

ADDIJAH:" what the hell is that thing! looks almost........ unreal.'' 

They got closer towards the monster to have a better look at it, they all cover their noses as yukio said

YUKIO:" it stinks! i wanna puke.'' 

ELLIS:" whatever this is i'm sure there's plenty more like it out there.''

ADDIJAH:" and by the looks of it, it seems that guns are  the only thing capable of  killing this thing in an instant.'' 

Addijah point his fingers showing markings on the monster's body

ELLIS:" intresting!'' 

ADDIJAH:" these markings looked like they were made from knives, arrows or axes.''

Ellis unloads his gun and said

ELLIS:" dammit! i'm down to three bullets.''

YUKIO:" that's not good.''

Addijah continues to examine the monster then he found something intresting

ADDIJAH:" look benind it's ears. it's soft.'' 

Addijah took out a knife from his pocket and slice the creature behind it's ears. to their suprised, the knife was able to cut through it's skin

ADDIJAH:" looks like the weak spot is behind the ears, and to top it off, it's ears are wide and thick, i'm guessing that the ears is what's protecting the soft spot. but with the speed this thing has, it would be impossible to get close enough to kill it with a knife, and not just that..... we don't know what else they're capable of.'' 

ELLIS:" so long range weapons such as guns and arrows are effective?" 

ADDIJAH:" yeah! on the other hand it would be great if a person using an arrow know of it's weak spot then the chances of killing it would be even.'' 

They all stood there looking at the creature until they hear a very loud roar. addijah got up and said

ADDIJAH:" lets go! keep your guard up and lets try our best to stay out of sight.'' 

And with that they continued their journey. they waled for some time until they stumbled upon a group of dead bodies. the bodies were scrattered all over the place along with weapons

YUKIO:" oh my!'' 

ELLIS:" i know right.'' 

ADDIJAH:"grab anything you see that can be of use to us. we need to keep going before we ran into more of those things.'' 

They picked up arrows, lighters and flares. as they were putting the stuff into their bags they heard a loud roar. addijah wispers quietly

ADDIJAH:" let's hide quickly!" 

The three of them ran into the nearby bushes that was covered in snow. they lay their heads low and decided to peak at what was going on. two monster appears and began to eat the remains of the dead bodies.  suddenly one of the creatured lift up it's head and began to smell the air. it continued to follow the path to where the scent was coming from, leading it straight towards where  addijah, yukio and ellis was hiding. the three of them held onto one another as it was too late for them to run. as the monster began to get closer and closer, they heard a loud scream, both of the monster's immediately ran into the direction to where the scream came from. addijah, yukio and ellis lets out a sigh of relief. 

ADDIJAH:" that was close. let's go.'' 

As they were walking addijah asked ellis a question

ADDIJAH:" back then, you said you have three remaining bullets correct?'' 

ELLIA:" yeah.'' 

ADDIJAH:" it would be best not to use the gun anytime soon, it would be best to wait until we're in a very difficult situation to use it. so for the time being let's just use these that we've collected.'' 

ELLIS:" i understand.'' 

YUKIO:" i wonder where those guys got all these weapons from.'' 

ELLIS:" who knows. i just hope we get to find more weapons on the way.'' 

ADDIJAH:" yea. that would be great.'' 

They continued walking until, out of nowhere one of the monster suddenly appears in front of them 

ADDIJAH:" this one's a bit small compared to the ones we've seen before. perhaps it's a baby, which means that the mother or father might be near by.'' 

As addijah said that the creature's mother appeared

ADDIJAH:" shit! what horrible timimg!" 

The three of them slowly began to step back keeping their distance so that they could be able to run. ellis looked around to see if they were surrounded by more of them. he then quietly wispers to addijah and yukio

ELLIS:" hey addijah!''

ADDIJAH:" yeah.'' 

ELLIS:" how good are you with a bow and arrow?" 

ADDIJAH:" i've never used one before, and it's the first time i'm seeing one. so i'd completely suck at it. why do you  ask?"

ELLIS:" well.. it's just that i'm not good with a bow and arrow so i was wondering if you could shoot that thing in it's weak spot while yukio and i create a distraction . your good with a spear gun so this shouldn't be so difficult for you.'' 

ADDIJAH:" a spear gun and a bow and arrow are two different things.... in some way.... but your right... they have somewhat similarities. i have a spare spear gun in my bag but it's attached to the base, i'd have to cut the strings in order for for it to actually kill that thing so it might take a little time. how long do you guys think you can distract it for?" 

YUKIO:" i don't know! considerinmg how fast these things are.. i'd say couple seconds.'' 

ELLIS:" there's two of us so all we have to do is confuse it, it's pretty fast but i'm sure they're not smart.'' 

ADDIJAH:' okay! be careful! i'll get this ready as quickly as possible.'' 

Yukio and ellis started to run in seperate directions, addijah quickly hid behind a tree as he quickly prepares the spear. the monster used it's long tail and aim it towards yukio, she quickly dogged it and jumped into a pile of snow which enables the  the monster's tail to hit the  tree, tearing it in half 

ELLIS:" yukio!" 

YUKIO:" i-i'm fine!" 

ELLIS:" what the hell! it's tail snapped the tree in half!'' 

The monster roared and started to run after ellis. ellis began to run between the trees, he ran towards the direction where yukio was and grabbed her by the hand. the two of them continued to run in-between the trees as the monster uses it's tail cutting them in half. 

ELLIS:"addijah! is it ready yet? we're running out of options here!" 

As ellis shouts, addijah finally finished setting up the spear. 

ADDIJAH:" done! hey guys! create an opening for me, i'll only be able to succeed in one shot!" 

ELLIS:" okay! here goes nothing!" 

Ellis stopped running, he pushed yukio out of the way and then he turned around facing the monster coming at him. the monster roared angrily as it gets closer towards ellis. addijah quickly went behind another tree, he looked at the monster totally distracted and saw that he had an opening. addijah take a deep breath in then he exhaled. he aimed the spear at the monster, he then waited until he saw a clear shot. the monster opened it's mouth ready to eat ellis. addijah open fire, the spear ran right through the monster's weak spot, the monster screamed as it stumbles trying to get away. after some time it fell onto the ground lifeless as blood flowed from it's body. yukio got up from the pile of snow and shouted

YUKIO:" are you crazy! you could've gotten yourself killed!" 

ADDIJAH:" that was pretty reckless. what if my attack didn't work?" 

Ellis smiled as he said

ELLIS:" i don't know what came over me. my body just moved on it's own without thinking... and besides.... i trust you to get the job done. addijah.... just know i have faith in you.'' 

ADDIJAH:" your saying you trust me with your life?"

Ellis nodded his head as he smiles. addijah smiled and said

ADDIJAH:"  well.... if that's the case.... i trust both of you with my life as well.'' 

he walked over towards the monster and pulled the spear from it's body. yukio smiled as she said

YUKIO:" both of you are crazy! you know that? i also trust you guys with my life as well.'' 

ADDIJAH:" it's getting dark. let's see if we could find a spot to rest for the night.'' 

Suddenly their stomach began to growl. the three of them looked at each other and laugh as they began walking

YUKIO:" man i'm starving!" 

ELLIS:" me too. very soon my legs will give out on me.''

They walked until they stumbled upon a river. they went by the river bank to see if there's any fish they could catch and eat

ELLIS:" look! i spot a fish.. but this river looks pretty deep.'' 

ADDIJAH:" i'll fix my spear and see if i can shoot it from here.'' 

Addijah sat down and began to fix his spear gun. suddenly he saw a long object swung passed his face and into the river. the tree of them turned around around and saw that it was the baby monster from before. the three of them backed away as quickly as they could

YUKIO:" what the hell! i didn't even notice that it was following us.'' 

ADDIJAH:" we completely forgot to kill it after we killed it's mother. maybe it's here to take revenge.'' 

They stood there looking at the monster, it lift it's tail from the water, at the end of it's tail was a fish, the monster quietly put the fish down in front of addijah and looked at him

ADDIJAH:"huh!'' 

The monster uses it's head to push the fish closer towards addijah then it lift it's head and look at them

YUKIO:"it's giving us the fish.'' 

ELLIS:" yeah i can see that. but why's it doing this?" 

ADDIJAH:" it no longer has a mother so i'm guessing it followed us because it has nowhere else to go.'' 

Addijah stepped forward and picked up the fish. the monster sat down as it uses it's tail to catch more fish. very soon there was plenty of fishes for addijah and the rest to eat. addijah looked at the monster and said

ADDIJAH:" thank you.'' 

Yukio, ellis and addijah picked up the fish and put them in his bag

ADDIJAH:" now that we have food the next thing we have to do is look for a place to rest for the night.'' 

They continued to walk again and they noticed that the baby monster was still following them

YUKIO:" hey! that thing is still following us.''

ADDIJAH:" let it be. i'm sure it means no harm.'' 

YUKIO:" yeah but.... that thing still scares me.'' 

ADDIJAH:"it's just a baby... maybe it doesn't have it's killing instinct yet like the ones we've encountered, so i guess we're safe for the time being.'' 

Yukio turn around towards the monster and said

YUKIO:" i got my eye on you!'' 

ELLIS:" addijah... i happened to notice your the smart type. i mean.... the way you know about things we've never seen before is pretty amazing. if it were me... i wouldn't be able to make such a wild guess.'' 

ADDIJAH:" i wouldn't say it's smart. i tend to read a lot of books about weird stuffs and watch documentries. i'd normally do it at school tho cause my dad couldn't afford it.'' 

ELLIS:" school huh! must be pretty amazing.'' 

ADDIJAH:" it's an all boy's school so nothing about that is amazing! i mean there's not one girl in sight, your just surrounded by idiots who does nothing but play and causes trouble all the time.''

ELLIS:" is it a public school?" 

ADDIJAH:" yeah! don't get me wrong tho, even tho those guys play and fought a lot, they're very brilliant. even i had very hard times when it comes to scoring in the top five. maybe if i hadn't missed out on school so much then maybe i'll be able to score in the top three.'' 

ELLIS:" is that so huh! so which category are you in then? since you've been missing out on school a lot.'' 

ADDIJAH:" the top 10!" 

ELLIS & YUKIO:" the top 10!?" 

ADDIJAH:" yeah! why are you guys so frighten?" 

YUKIO:" you said you missed out on school very often so i was hoping you'd say you were in the top 20s or 30s.. but the top 10! anyone would be shocked if they heard you, some might even think you're lying.'' 

ELLIS:" yeah! look at me! i went to school everyday and i'm nowhere near the top ten. i gotta say.... if you missed out on school very often yet you're still in the top ten your actually a smart person.'' 

ADDIJAH:" the key to all of this is studying.''

YUKIO:" yeah.... studying doesen't sit well with me.'' 

ELLIS:" me neither! as soon as i take up a book to read i immediately fall asleep.'' 

ADDIJAH:" hahaha! you guys hate studying that much? well i can't blame you guys. instead of studying all the time you have other things to keep you company. i on the other hand don't have anything to do most of the time rather than diving for fish, or i'll just stay at home.'' 

ELLIS:'' you have friends you could play with so why stay home?"
