ELLIS:" oh... i see.''

ADDIJAH:"the country i'm from isn't bad at all in terms of crime.... as you know... everywhere you go in the world killing and crimes are unavoidable. i had a cousin once! he was very cheerful and kind, he treated me like a little brother, i looked up to him for the good person he was. i will never forget what i saw that day... he died right before my eyes..  he was mistakenly shot in the head by some gang members who mistook him for someone else. all i could do was stand there......looking at his lifeless body as the blood flowed from his head. no matter how hard i tried to cry, or scream... my mouth wouldn't let out the tiniest sound, the water wouldn't flow from my eyes.. i was nine years old at the time and he was twenty, after that day... i'd often had nightmares and trouble sleeping.'' 

ELLIS:" you're a very strong person addijah. my condolences... i mean...... going through all that trama and you manage to stay strong.. if i was in your shoes, i'd probably commit suicide.'' 

YUKIO:" yeah! most people would've gone crazy if they ever experience that.. my condolences to you and your family addijah.'' 

ADDIJAH:" i have a lot of things i want to accomplish first and i haven't achieved anything yet, so commiting suicide was not on the list.. after all i have my grandmother and other relatives who helped me overcome that traggic incident.'' 

ELLIS:" i wish i had that kind of family support... maybe i wouldn't have done some things in the past.''

ADDIJAH:" have you tried commiting suicide before?'' 

ELLIS:" i have! i was depressed and got tired of living so i tried to hang myself. it hurts a lot in the process so i cut the rope with the knife i had in my pocket. i was sent to a therapist after that for treatment.. worse part is, my family didn't even care.'' 

Very soon they came upon a cave. they moved slowly yet quietly to see if there was anything inside. addijah picked up a stone and threw it inside the cave, the sound of the stone echoed inside the empty cave

ADDIJAH:" it's empty. lets rest here for the night and try to eat something, i'm starving.''

After they've finally settled, they build a fire, clean and roast the fishes. the remains of the fish addijah gave it to the baby monster. the time got darker and colder and the fire has gotten really weak

YUKIO:" looks like we'll be sleeping in the dark tonight.'' 

ADDIJAH:" that's not a bad idea.'' 

ELLIS:"huh! how so?'' 

ADDIJAH:" i just think that the fire would attract those monsters here so it would be best not to create a huge fire. we'll just have to keep it as low as possible so that it can keep us warm throughout the night.'' 

ELLIS:'' valid point.'' 

YUKIO:" this baby monster's already asleep. looks like it's stomach is alreadly full.''

They all sat there looking at the baby monster as it sleeps. eventually, overtime the three of them has gotten sleepy. they lay down beside one another with addijah in the middle. addijah wispers to ellis and yukio in frustration

ADDIJAH:" seriously guys! how am i supposed to sleep with both of you holding onto me like this.''

As addijah sighed, he heard a loud roar coming from outside the cave. ellis and yukio quickly opened their eyes

ADDIJAH:" shhhhhhh! don't make a sound!'' 

The three of them got up and went behind a rock to hide. the baby monster got up and went to the entrance and pee, after it was finished it went back to it's usual spot and went back to bed. addijah looked at the entrance and saw shadows of monsters lurking around. everyone remained quiet and watched as the monsters sniffed the entrance and went on their way

ADDIJAH:" that was close.'' 

ELLIS:" i guess they're not foolish after all.'' 

THE FOLLOWING MORNING........

ADDIJAH:" the snow's falling pretty heavily.'' 

ELLIS:" yeah! looks like a snowstorm's coming soon. in that case we should see how far we can go before it arrives.. find a better resting place to wait it out.'' 

ADDIJAH:'' alright then. let's go.'' 

They immediately left after hearing about the snowstorm that's about to come. as they walked a narrow path they heard sounds of gun shots coming from the left direction. they all stopped in their trails and listened. they heard gun shots fired around five more times , the wind blows heavily, addijah tighten his coat and said

ADDIJAH:" let's get going. sound's like whoever's firing those gun shots is completely surrounded by a lot of monsters, so helping out at this point would only put us in danger and most likely... die.'' 

Yukio and ellis nodded their heads and tighten their coats and resume walking. in that moment they heard the little baby monster that was following them begans to growl angrily while looking at the trees behind him

ADDIJAH:"ohhh fuck! we're completely surrounded.'' 

Six monsters appear from behind the tree, these monster were bigger than the one's they've saw before.  addijah, yukio and ellis face their backs against each other. the monsters roared as they slowly walks towards addijah's group. yukio's body trembles as she tries her best to remain calm. the monster grew closer and closer, the baby monster jumps into the air as he starts to attack the monsters.the monster focused their attention on the baby monster, they use their sharp teeths and tail tearing the baby monster apart. addijah seeing the monsters being distracted he signaled yukio and ellis to run. the little baby monster screamed as it was being killed. after the monster was dead the others focused their attentions back on addijah's group and starts chasing them. the leader of the monster group swung his tail after addijah's group, the monster's tail hit addijah in his side causing him to stagger into yukio and ellis. the three of them fell down crashing into the bushes then finally they landed into another monster's nest filled with eggs. they landed on a couple of eggs, causing the eggs to crack open. they were all covered in fluids from the eggs, they quickly got up and look ahead and saw that the monster's were still pursing them. all of them were in pain so they tried their best to run. the monster's made it to the nest and immediately starts destroying the eggs  as they ate them.  addijah, yukio and ellis were then backed into a corner surrounded by the monsters with nowhere else to run. just as the monster was about to attack them, another bigger monster with dark red skin appeared and started killing them. this monster has no ears, one eye in the middle of it's head, four legs with very sharp toe nails, extra long, pointy and sharp teeth's and a massive, long, fat, pointy tail. After it was finished killing the smaller monster's it turn around and look at ellis, addijah and yukio. It walked over towards them and carefully smell them one by one. The monster then roared really loudly and left. Every stood there in utter shock as slime drips off their faces. Yukio's legs have gotten so weak she fell onto the ground. Ellis and addijah sat on the ground as well completely speechless . time passed and they finally regained some strenght

YUKIO:"i..... am so confused....... what the hell just happen? that weird looking monster didn't eat us.''

ADDIJAH:" for a moment there i thought we're all going to die. to my suprise.... we we're saved by one of them..... even th this one's completely different.'' 

ELLIS:"this place just keeps getting crazier and crazier. my head hurts just thinking about what we're going to face next.'' 

YUKIO:" i'm guessing the reason why it didn't harm us is because we were covered in it's egg slime.'' 

ADDIJAH:' yeah! that's a solid conclusion.'' 

YUKIO:" speaking of slime... mann it stinks..'' 

Addijah got up off his feet a said

ADDIJAH:" come on. i wanna leave this place already.'' 

 They were immediately  attacked again after fleeing from the monster's nest. addijah was hit again by one of the monster's tail. The force of the monster's tail attack sent addijah flying into a tree. he fell onto the ground and the items that was in his bag fell out. He looked and saw the flare, the knife and the spear gun. Addijah looked up and saw that yukio and ellis was being surrounded by monster's. He picked up the knife and ran over towards ellis and yukio to help them. Addijah ran behind one of the monster, grabbed onto it's tail and climbed his way to the top of it's head. The other monster's tried attacking addijah as he ran ontop of the monster's back. in that moment addijah hurriedly look behind the monster's ear. addijah held the kinfe up into the air and jump. he used the knife to pierce the monster's weakspot. the monster screamed really loudly as it twist and turn. addijah was thrown off it's back into the snow. The monster's lifeless body fell onto the ground as the blood flow from it's neck . The remaining monster's continued attacking yukio and ellis, addijah picked up the flare, lit it, held it up into the air and shouts

ADDIJAH:"heyyyyyyyy! heyyyy! over here!.'' 

The monster's immediately turned around and saw addijah holding the red flare in his hand. As soon as addijah caught their attention he turned around and started to run. They ran after addijah into the woods, addijah ran as fast as he could, he looked behind him and saw that the monster's were gaining upon him. He saw a cliff up ahead, without thinking, addijah jumped. being completely unaware, the monster's followed addijah over the cliff, addijah tried to grab a hold onto something, his hands scraped on the cliff trying to find something solid, until finally he was able to grab onto a branch. He held on tightly as he watched the monster's falling one after the other.

ELLIS:" addijah! grab onto this quickly!'' 

Ellis lets down a rope for addijah to grab onto. The moment addijah grabbed onto the rope the branch break and fell, yukio and ellis used all their remaining strenght to pull addijah up from the cliff, he made it safely to the top

YUKIO:"addijah... your hands.... they're bleeding.'' 

ADDIJAH:" it's okay! i'm fine.'' 

yukio slapped addijah in his head and said

YUKIO:" you idiot! no your not okay! at this rate your fingers would prababy freeze until they become numb.'' 

ADDIJAH:" you have anything in mind?"

YUKIO:" come... let me clean it up for you and get it wrapped up. i happened to have a few bandages in my bag.'' 

ADDIJAH:"okay! by the way... where did the rope come from?" 

ELLIS:" i happened to saw it on those dead bodies a while back so i decided to keep it. it's a good thing i did.'' 

ADDIJAH:' thank you! for saving me just now.''

ELLIS:'' don't mentioned it. after all... we've got each other's backs since the begining.'' 

Addijah smiled

ADDIJAH:"oww!'' 

YUKIO:"sorry.'' 

They got up and continued on their path, the snow began to fall even harder than it was before

ELLIS:" looks like the snowstorm's here. we must find shelter quickly. it wouldn't be so nice if we were to get caught up in this.'' 

As the snow gotten thicker it become difficult for them to walk. they spot a huge cave up ahead and what looks like  a huge fire. quickly, they made their way towards it. upon arriving they saw a middle-aged man laying near the fire with one of his arms completely torn off. the man slowly opened his eyes and saw yukio, ellis and addijah standing over him

FINLAND:"c-children...'' 

YUKIO:" excuse me sir.. can you hear me?' 

ELLIS:' he's looking super pale. he's lost too much blood.'' 

ADDIJAH:" we have to tie his arms up to stop the bleeding.''

FINLAND:" d-don't bother.. it's no use... i'm going to die either way, i've already accepted my fate. i've lost way too much blood so it's pointless to even try saving me.''

ADDIJAH:"how were you able to survive this long? you even build a fire.... was there someone else here with you perhaps?"

FINLAND:" yes! a young man in his early thirty's. after he lit up the fire he told me to sit tight, he'll be going for some help but he hasn't returned back yet. i supposed he's dead.'' 

The three of them looked at each other, knowing that the other person left this man here alone to die

FINLAND:" why do you guys look so sad? i'm pretty sure  you've seen others in a worser state than i'm in right? it's actually quite suprising... three young children made it this far by themselves... how lucky for you to be in your prime, so full of energy.. unlike me.... who's getting old and can barely managed.''  

ADDIJAH:"you're wrong! we wouldn't have made it this far if we didn't get any help...but... because we've got help from so many people is the reason why we made it this far.''

FINLAND:"ohh... i see. since i'm going to die.... i'm going to give you guys these weapons that i have. take everything and use it well... and make sure you guys make it out of this mess alive.''

ADDIJAH, YUKIO & ELLIS:" thank you very much sir!"

Very soon after than finland passed away peacefully. addijah closed finland's eyes and said

ADDIJAH:'' may your soul rest in peace!'' 

Addijah uses the coat finland was wearing to cover his dead body. after that they sat around the fire to keep their bodies warm. ellis searched through finland's bag, to his suprise he saw gun shots, small knives, bombs and a shot gun.

ELLIS:" sweet! more gun shots!'' 

YUKIO:" i always wonder! where are they getting these weapons from?''

ADDIJAH:"beats me! i'm guessing they probably took it from dead bodies! after alll... there's people from all over the world who's trapped in this crappy place with us.''

ELLIS:"yukio! do you know how to use a shot gun?" 

YUKIO:" no! i've never even held a gun before.'' 

ELLIS:" i can teach you.''

YUKIO:" really? thanks!" 

Yukio went over to where ellis was. addijah sat by the fire side looking at the knives. The snowstorm finally passed, they packed their bags and head out, but before they leave addijah blocked the entrance with snow so that finland's body could not be found

ADDIJAH:" you guys ready? from here on out there's no stopping until we've reached the gate.'' 

ELLIS:' i'm so ready!

YUKIO:" me too! i'm sick of this place.''

ADDIJAH:" alright then! lets go kill some monster's!'' 

They've continue to walk on the same path they were on before, and just as they predicted, they were immediately attacked one after the other by the monsters. ellis was able to kill them in one shot while yukio was getting the hang of it

ADDIJAH:"are you well prepared?"

ELLIS:'huh?" 

ADDIJAH:" that shot you fired just now was pretty loud, i'm sure that monsters nearby must've heard it and is already making there way over towards this direction.''

ELLIS:"shit!!!! having a bunch of them swarming around us is bad news.''

Just as ellis said that, they were completely surrounded by more, yukio uses her shot gun, ellis began to open fire and addijah took out a bomb from his bag and said

ADDIJAH:''everyone take cover quickly!''
