Notice that Ruby's fire isn't completely under her own control.
Whereas in episode 1, which takes place 14,000 years later, when she's fighting with Padparadscha, she doesn't even flare up ONCE.
and that's definitely *NOT* because I forgot to draw it back then- phsssh- no, its, um *-*- Character Growth -*-*
no doubt!
Also, note that the fire is an *emotional* power, and is therefore not affected by the golden circlet limiting her gem, which was established as a limiter of *physical* power. Just pointing that out.
