ELLIS:"shit! i'm almost out of bullets..''

YUKIO:" same here.'' 

ADDIJAH:" i only have three bombs remaining, and the monster's just keeps coming one after the other.''

ELLIS:" how irritating!'' 

ADDIJAH:"i have an idea! i'll throw one of the bombs when there's enough around us, that way you guy's won't have to waste your bullets.''

And so they continue running, when addijah saw the perfect timing he told yukio and ellis to take cover then he throw the bomb at the monsters, it immediately exploded killing all of the monster's that surrounded them. ellis got even more pissed when he saw more monsters coming. The three of them decided that they'll have to use the remaining weapons they have left. Being backed into a corner with no other options, the monsters attack. To everyone's suprise, they saw the monster's falling one after the other. addijah looked into the direction where the shots were being fired and saw a group of men

MARCUS:"you guy's okay down there?"

ELLIS:"y-yeah! thank you!

MARCUS:"no problem kid.'' 

JIN-PARK:" you guys are very lucky! if we hadn't hurry you'd all be dead by now. you're one lucky bunch.''

MARCUS:" my name's marcus by the way. i'm from scotland, this guy right here's jin-park, he's from south korea. over here we have pierre, he's from haiti, he's not very good with english. and this guy over here.. we don't know his name nor where he's from and the language he speaks none of us knows it. and lastly, this guy right here is called xiao pan, you can call him pan for short, he's from china.'' 

ADDIJAH:"nice to meet you all! my name's addijah and i'm from jamaica.'' 

PIERRE:" jamaica! finally! i've found another person who's from the caribbean.'' 

ADDIJAH:"ummm...o-okay.'' 

Addijah stood there looking kind of irritated as pierre clings onto him

YUKIO:"hi! i'm yukio and i'm from japan! nice to meet you all. and thank you for saving us.'' 

ELLIS:"i'm ellis. i'm from england.'' 

MARCUS:" nice to meet you all! question.. you kids wanna join us? the more people we have the better chances we have of killing those monsters... plus-...'' 

Marcus looked at the weapons in their hands and said

MARCUS:" it looks like you guys need a reload as well.''' 

ADDIJAH:" are you the leader of this group?" 

MARCUS:"yeah! i guess you could say that, even tho i didn't want to become a leader, these guys just started following me around everywhere and follow my orders.'' 

ADDIJAH:" i see!" 

MARCUS:" so! who's the leader of this tiny group?" 

Ellis and yukio both pointed at addijah. 

ADDIJAH:"what! mee?"

ELLIS:" yeah! i mean.. your brave and fearless, your also smart  and you think before you act.''

YUKIO:"yeah! you're not reckless either and i like that about you. you also look out for other people and that's what leaders do.'' 

ADDIJAH:"i didn't know you guys think that way about me.''

Addijah said as he blushes

MARCUS:"i see... seems like they look up to you, and most importantly they trust you with their lives and the decisions you make. so weather you join my group or not..... that's your choice to make. we can help each other so think about it carefully.'' 

JIN-PARK:" we'll be resting over there so take all the time you need to think about it.'' 

ADDIJAH:"okay!

Marcus and the others went over towards a huge tree and sat beside it. Yukio, ellis and addijah sat beneath a huge rock to make their final decision

ADDIJAH:"so.. what do you guys want? you want us to join them?" 

ELLIS:"well..... we can't go around trusting every person we see, also.... we're low on weapons, so i guess we could join them but also keep our guards up.''

Yukio sat there quietly without saying a word. addijah saw that yukio was worried about something and asked

ADDIJAH:"what's wrong? is something bothering you? if you don't feel comfortable joining their group you can tell us. for your sake we won't join them.'' 

YUKIO:'' well.. the thing is... i'm the only girl whose gonna be in this group full of grown men. i feel safe traveling with you guys but.. i don't know what those guys might think down the line.'' 

ADDIJAH:"i see! your still tramatized from before. but don't worry.. like i said before, i'll protect you as if my life depends on it. so have faith in me. and stick to us very closely.'' 

YUKIO:" alright!'' 

ELLIS:" don't worry yukio! we'll protect you if anything's bound to  happen.'' 

YUKIO:"right! got it! thanks. alright then... let's do this.'' 

ADDIJAH:" alright then! it's been decided. but let's keep a close eye on them.''

ELLIS & YUKIO:" alright!'' 

ADDIJAH:" let's do this.'' 

They walked over towards marcus group and said

ADDIJAH:"we'll join you guys.'' 

MARCUS:" perfect! looking forward to working with you guys.''

XIAO-PAN:'' hope you guys don't drag us down!'' 

ELLIS:'' what's that suppose to mean?" 

XIAO-PAN:" you guys are just teenagers! all i'm saying is i hope you guys can keep up. i bet the reason you guys even made it this far is because you've had people helped you here and there.'' 

ADDIJAH:" so what if we've gotten help along the way? it's not against the rules the last time i check so getting help from other's is perfectly fine.'' 

XIAO-PAN:" whatever!'' 

MARCUS:" pan! be nice will ya! were already in deep shit so try not to make it hard for others.'' 

JIN-PARK:" here you go! reload your weapons. we'll be leaving soon.'' 

They took the bullets and reload their weapons, then very soon after they all pack their bags and leave. they walked quietly, pierre walked up to addijah and said

PIERRE:"what's a kid like you doing in a place like this? shouldn't you be in school living your best life?" 

ADDIJAH:"you can't live your best life without money can you?'' 

PIERRE:" no! so the reason why your here is because you need money?"

ADDIJAH:" yes!" 

PIERRE:" aren't you too young to be thinking about money? what about your parents?" 

ADDIJAH:" my father's not in the best of health and i don't know my mother because she abondoned me since i was a baby. so to take the pressure off my sick father i took over as the man of the house so that he can focus more on his health. why are you here?" 

PIERRE:" welll.... you see! i kind of cheated on my wife multiple times and she found out about it and left me. she took the house, the kids and the business we own together so eventually i was homeless and the women that i cheated on my wife with wants nothing to do with me anymore. i went back to my wife trying to convince her to take me back and i'm deeply sorry for all the mistakes i've made, however she too didn't want nothing at all with me and she called the cops and file a restraining order against me. i was desperate you see. i want her back in my life, and that's how i ended up in this nightmare.'' 

ADDIJAH:" serves you right!'' 

PIERRE:" huh!

MARCUS:" hahahaha! the kid's right! you deserve it! you're pretty stupid if you ask me. i mean look at it... you have a nice woman at home who feeds you and clothed you, making sure that your well taken care of 247, and what did you do instead of showing her you appreciate her?you went and you cheated on her with multiple women and when your wife, the woman who actually cared about you left you, and the other women you've been cheating with wants nothing more to do with you, thats when you realized that you've made the biggest mistake of your life. man i wish my wife was still here! i'd cherish her like there's no tomarrow.'' 

PIERRE:"i know that i messed up big time and i'm willing to do anything for her to forgive me and take me back.'' 

Pierre fell onto the ground as he cries in distress

PIERRE:"mwen jis vle soti nan kaka sa sa! ( i just wanna get out of this shithole!) m pwomet m pap fe yon bagay konsa anko! ( i promise i won't do something like that ever again!!)'' 

Everyone stood and watch as pierre cries in his own native language. they all turn around looking at addijah

ADDIJAH:"what? why's everyone looking at me?" 

MARCUS:" aren't you going to translate what's he's saying?" 

ADDIJAH:"huh? i'm sorry! but i don't know what the hell this guy's saying either. you're gonna have to ask him that directly.'' 

JIN-PARK:" but aren't you both from the caribbean? you should be able to understand each other!" 

ADDIJAH:" while it's true that we're both from the caribbean, we're from different countries thus meaning we also speak different languages. he speaks french creole and i speak english creole.''

JIN-PARK:"oh! i didn't know that. i thought that the word CARIBBEAN was just one big country with different states just like america.'' 

ADDIJAH:" the caribbean is made up of very small islands. and each island speaks a different language such as   english and spanish.'' 

JIN-PARK:" i understand now! thank you for explaining it to me.'' 

XIAO-PAN:" let's go! we don't have all day to sit and chat.'' 

Everyone continued on their journey. as they walk they heard a loud thud. they all turned around at the same time and saw that it was one of marcus men( the guy who nobody knows his name) with a hole in his chest

MARCUS:"what the fuck! how'd this happen?'' 

As they stood there looking confused, they saw something being pulled from the man's body. it was very long and red and has split, pointy ends

ADDIJAH:" it looks like a tail.'' 

They followed the tail with their eyes to see the direction it was coming from. Up in a very tall tree, they saw a huge, red monster looking down at them. the monster uses it's tail and ate the man's heart off it then he slowly climbs his way down

MARCUS:": w-where the hell did that thing come from!'' 

JIN-PARK:" it's even bigger and it even have a different color than the other's we've killed.'' 

XIAO-PAN:" maybe it's the boss! how come we didn't even know it was following us.'' 

ADDIJAH:" if you look closely.. you'll realize that it's tail has split ends, it's totally different from the ones we've seen. this one might even be stronger and even smarter than the rest.'' 

CATO:" i would prefer if you stopped reffering to me as THAT THING or THIS ONE!'' 

Frighten, they all a look around 

ELLIS:" who said that? show yourself!'' 

CATO:" i'm already in front of you. can't any of you see me?" 

They all looked at the monster standing before them 

CATO:"what! cat got your tongue?"

Everyone being so shocked, their knees have gotten so weak they fell onto the ground

JIN-PARK:"i-it... it talks! that thing! it's talking.'' 

XIAO-PAN:"b-but how!'' 

CATO:"what do you mean how? and my name is cato, not THAT THING.'' 

PIERRE:''how is it able to speak? i've never about animals speaking otherwise from parrots 

CATO:" it's quite simple really! ever since the day i was created, i was sent to this place, i studied the humans that would normally pass through here, until one of them eventually began to teach me how to speak. by the time i've fully mature i've already know how to speak and right after that my killing instincts awaken, and i killed the lady that thaught me how to understand human language.'' 

MARCUS:" why?" 

CATO:" i was designed to kill. we don't have this thing you humans called emotions.'' 

ADDIJAH:"why are you so different from the rest?" 

CATO:"that's because we're the ones who've given birth to them we have the ability to give birth to different types of 006s.'' 

ADDIJAH:"is that what your called? and when you say we, they're others just like you?"

CATO:" yes there are others like me. but i'm the only one they've put here. and no! the ones you've been seeing ever since you got here are ranked the lowest, they're called 017s and they're the weakest. they too also have the ability to reproduce as well and we call those ones 018s once they're hatched. the higher the number goes the weaker they become. my actual name is 000, but later on i was given the name cato by the lady who teached me how to speak. once you've been given another name you'll eventually evolved into something greater and stronger.'' 

ADDIJAH:"eariler i saw some of them eating some eggs they stumbled upon. why did they eat them?" 

CATO:"they're from different breeds of 017s. if you've noticed some of them has very bright green colors while some have a much darker tone, the features are quite different too. they don't really get along well so when they actually bumped into each other it's always war, and the side that losses gets eaten by the other side that wins, and in doing so, they're able to somewhat evolve. you may've even seen some of them eating humans whole, as where i... i only eat the most tasty parts which is the the heart and brains.'' 

ELLIS:"that explains the whole is that guys chest.'' 

CATO:" well! i've grown pretty tired of the chit-chatting! lets get down to business. either you all willingly lay down and offer yourselves to me, or would you rather do it the fun way where you'll all die fighting?" 

Everyone stood there quietly looking at cato. addijah suddenly held  tightly onto his weapon, cato looks at him, laughed and said

CATO:"hahahaha! well well well! looks like we have someone among the group that knows how to have a little fun! you! i like your spirit! i hope you do put up a good fight!'' 

Ellis looks over at addijah and wispers

ELLIS:"addijah! are we supposed to run?" 

ADDIJAH:" no! stay right where you are. if you try to make a run for it he'll just use his tail to kill you. our best option right now is to stay put and keep our eyes open.'' 

ELLIS:'' won't it still kill us if we stay put?" 

ADDIJAH:" that's the only option we got right now! you do notice that it speaks right? which mean it's even smarter, way smarter than the others, and i'm not ready to die in a place like this.'' 

As ellis and addijah continue wispering to each other, xiao-pan got up and quickly ran

CATO:"oh look! my first catch!" 

Cato proceeds to attack xiao-pan with his tail, addijah saw the perfect chance to create a distraction and immediately shouts

ADDIJAH:" everyone scatter and open fire!" 

everyone followed addijah's command and went into opposite direction aiming their guns towards cato. being distracted with the sounds of gun shots, cato was unable to harm xiao-pan

CATO:"hahaha!  yes! yes! you guys are making this more fun for me! i hope all of you are as tasty as you look! i shall have a grand feast!'' 

Cato uses his tail and swung it back and forth, cutting down the trees in his path. marcus and his men continue to open fire aimlessly towards cato. cato stopped, looked around and saw that everyone was now visible to him. he aimed his tail towards addijah, he dogged them over and over until cato starts to get angry

CATO:" your pretty annoying and frisky! i shall be getting rid of you first!'' 

Cato lets out a really loud roar, it echoed all over, then it got really quiet. suddenly they felt the ground beneath them shaking

ELLIS:" what's happening?" 

JIN-PARK:"it must be an earthquake or something!"
