I've always loved watching the waves crash against the cliffs. I've loved them for as long as I could remember. As I grew older, I started to paint them. I spent many a day watching from different angles, capturing the chaos of foam and water in acrylic and oil. I've put much time and effort into the paintings. I poured all my love into each and every painting.
One day, I was painting on one of the many cliffs when it crumbled beneath my feet. I would be swollowed by the waves. I braced for death and impact. I closed my eyes tightly and waited. But nothing happened. I felt weightless for a moment then craddled by the arms of many.
"Oh no," I hear, "we cannot destroy something that has loved us so beautifully."
Something brushed my chestnut brown hair from my face. The salty smell of the sea calms my racing heart. Water crashes around me and soaks my clothes. After a moment I opened my eyes.
I'm greeted by an amazing sight. The waves had formed a humanoid shape. The face was teardrop shaped with kind features. Roundish-Almond eyes the color of sea foam sparkled with delight. Long sea green hair cascaded down in curled waves. The being's skin was the same powder blue as the sea.
"Your eyes," they cooed. "Your eyes are such a beautiful color! Such a beautiful shade of blue violet."
They excitedly babbled about how pretty I was up close. They spoke highly of me and my paintings. Warmth crept to my face as they continued to complemented me. I was embarassed by it all. After a while I hid my face in my hands. That didn't seem to stop them.
"We love that way you hold the brush. And the way you paint the foam! You might not notice it, but you gaze at us with such love and devotion," they rambled. There was a smile in their voice. "When you do something you like, you show your adorable dimple. We absolutely adore it! Add that to your freckles and cute mannerisms then your irresistibly cute."
Then my feet gently touched the sand. The wave being looked incredibly distrait now. It was as if the didn't want me to leave. That look seemed to pull at my heart. I had to do something to make the happy.
"I wouldn't mind if you came home with me," I started to offer. "I mean if it's possible."
Their eyes shined with pure joy. They engulfed me in a hug. From that moment on I lived with a being made of waves. It happened by chance, but it made my life so much better. I love the waves and they love me back.
This is just going to be a place where I put random stories. If you want me to expand on one just let me know and I'll try. Also please let me know if there are any mistakes in spelling or grammar.
