It was perfectly wrapped and sitting innocetly under the tree. I giggled each time I saw the 'present'. The striped paper shined under the glowing lights. The 'present' sat untouched until Christmas morning. Everyone came rushing into the living room, including you.
A smile played at my lips, but no one paid any mind. It could have easliy been mistaken for excitment. Things were going exactly as planed. You suspected not a thing. Just like I didn't last year. Everything is going exactly like last year.
Last year you handed the presents to everyone, this year it was my turn. Slowly, I passed the presents to everyne. I saved the best for last. The 'present' to you from me. You waited expectantly for it. I can clearly see it and another smile plays at my lips.
As I hand you the 'present' I say, "I hope ypu find this enjoyable. I worked very hard on this."
You took it with a joyful laugh. That joy wouldn't last long. You carefully tare the wrapping paper as my smile grows. One of our firends giggle. You've gotten to the box now. You still don't suspect anything.
Last year you gave me a box filled with my greatest fear. This year I would return the favor. You excitedly lift the lid to the box. Once you look inside your face pales. It takes a moment for it to register. As soon as it does the reaction is abosolutely satisfactory.
Your face morphs into complete terror. You drop the lid into the floor. You hasitly attempt to scramble away. You inhale sharply as you start to hug yourself. Then you let out a gut wrenching scream. It was music to my ears as you knock the box over.
With eyes filled to the brim with fear you glare at me. You now see the wide smile etched on my face.
"Revenge is a dish best served cold." My voice is filled with mischief and triumph. "So, my dear friend, how do you like the taste of your own medicine?"
This is just going to be a place where I put random stories. If you want me to expand on one just let me know and I'll try. Also please let me know if there are any mistakes in spelling or grammar.
