John Kasich is a nasty piece of work. From being a gay basher until his son came out of the closet to his bashing of the police for just giving him a ticket for breaking the law, he is not that much different than the other Republicans running.
Because he refuses to hate his gay son, corporate media paints him as a moderate.
He is just as nasty as Trump or Cruz, but he doesn't join in on the crude talk they sink to. So that makes him a "statesman."
From the get go, he was running for higher office to have a job not as Governor, but to be a Vice-President or even a cabinet member. He as Governor has worked hard to destroy the middle class, implemented strict laws to keep women from having access to medical care, and has signed laws that aid the prison industrial complex. The media constantly is ignoring the fact he only got into politics after he helped ruin the economy by driving Lehman Brothers out of business, setting off the crash of 2008.
Now, just because he is the Governor of Ohio, a state that Republicans win with 125% of the vote at some polling stations, he thinks he can win the primary.
A weekly webcomic which spotlights this week's most absurd moment in politics. From local officials to presidential contenders, no one is safe from our mockery.
