In the last panel of Ch 1 there was some blood, but of course what happened wasn't very clear (purposely).
Time to begin showing and explaining what's going on and where the hell we are!
Chapter 2 will answer every question you may have after chapter 1 and especially after reading this Ch 2 part 1 as well, don't worry (questions such as: what the hell is that fingernail?)
Mark of darkness is heavily "realistic", so there are realistic explanations for everything (i don't like superpowers and things making stuff too easy), or at least that's my goal, in which i hope i succeeded with the story :)
I'm uploading part1 but you shall be told that part 2 and 3 are almost complete as well, i just decided to upload this one as soon as it was ready and then upload the others when they are finished as well (should take some hours/ a day)
As you can see, i'm still working on my style and trying to improve in the areas in which i know i need improvement, and of course that's the main reason it took me a little bit more than two weeks to almost finish chapter 2, which this time is about 36 panels long! (i kept studying and practicing, and a lot of time went there instead of working on the comic)
I'm definitely going towards a realistic style which keeps a manga influence, and i like the direction it's taking.
Good.Evil.Manipulation.Knowledge.Power.Corruption.
Can a single individual win
against a group of corrupted
inviduals who have power
and control over an
entire kingdom?
Mark of Darkness is a Dark Fantasy heavily Psychological/Philosphical, but also rich of action, where you can see everything, but most likely not clichès. Hopefully.
It won't be a typical journey.
All we know so far is that some Regents managed to change a Democracy into a Monarchy, with a plan that lasted years. Now they are called the Peace Warrantors, yet they caused the Great Starvation and no one knows. What are they aiming at? How will the other Kingdoms react?
