Chapter 1 Family, Power and Bond

Before we start i hope you like this story cant wait to hear  you thought and read your comments enjoy chapter 1
The clash of swords echoed through the air, creating a beautiful symphony, followed by a thud as a body hit the ground. The victorious warrior, stood tall over his fallen opponent., “You’re improving at a rapid pace.” The one on the ground responded, “I may, but I still end up on the ground there's a lot of work ahead of me." The elder warrior chuckled, a hint of pride in his eyes. "Don't be so hard on yourself. You're improving with every session, and this isn't your first weapon." He proceeded to list the array of weapons the young fighter had mastered – dagger, spear, shield, nunchaku, bow sword even a war hammer, what more do you seek?” The second fighter’s eyes blazed with determination. “I don’t want to be weak anymore. I want to prove myself—to everyone. Especially as the son of a legendary war hero, the Lion of the South.” The truth hung unspoken: the standing warrior was the father, a battle-hardened leader who had left the army after countless victories. His face bore a scar, and his body was a testament to years of combat. At 186 centimeters tall, with white hair and a thick beard black-brown eyes, and a master of the spear, he was a formidable figure at the age of 57. Goes by the name of Alexander. His son, a mere 15 years old, stood at 170 centimeters. His body hinted at strength, slim athletic body type, and his hands and legs bore the marks of hard work, short hair and black eyes. He loved strategic thinking, honing his skills from the moment he could walk goes by the name Lucenio.

Raising an eyebrow, the boy’s father, questioned, "Are you trying to compensate for a perceived lack of power? Is that why you push yourself so hard?” Lucenio met his gaze squarely. “Yes. Our family have a strong family heritage, but my powers are weak—almost nonexistent even I failed the power exams so I need to cover it from every aspect, and I can't afford to fall short I must protect my younger brother and sister, be a reliable right hand for my brother." Alexander looked at his son with a sad, surprised look. lucenio continued, “We all know that my brother has the potential to lead because he has the strongest power potential among all his friends and maybe his generation. So, I will dedicate myself to support him no matter what.” Alexander looked at his son with a mixture of surprise and understanding “Why this relentless pursuit?” he asked. “Why measure your worth against others? Your brother’s potential to lead doesn’t diminish your own path.” Strength isn’t solely in power. It’s in resilience, adaptability. You can be a warrior, a trader, even a farmer. Your mind and skills will carry you through. Protect your family, yes, but don’t lose sight of your own desires.” "Don't build your future based on others. Choose what you want. With your skills and intellect, the most important thing is your happiness and the ties to your family, especially your sister and brother. You want to be strong, I respect that, but just to protect your family not because you think you are low-key compared to them.”
Touched by his father’s wisdom, the young warrior and his father embraced, by a shared understanding and hug that showed their strong bond.

Then a sweet voice came with a beautiful breeze, “Come on, you two! You ruined my garden again.” The voice belonged to the wife and mother who appeared with a playful scolding expression. Both looked around themselves to find the ground as if a small death fight had happened. unintended damage in the midst of their training They both looked shocked and laughed so hard, apologizing to her “come,” she said, “let’s eat. And next time, spar somewhere else.” Together, they headed towards the inviting aroma of lunch, to join the rest of the family, leaving behind the training ground. The mother is a character whose beauty is truly captivating, defined by her beautiful and expressive face. With an oval or round head shape that delicately balances her facial features, she possesses a harmonious appearance that draws the eye. Her dark brown eyes, adorned with long, luscious eyelashes Arched, well-defined eyebrows frame her rounded eyes, accentuating her gaze with an air of intrigue. A straight and elegant nose leads to a mouth that is full and curved, often adorned with a radiant smile or infectious laughter. Her olive skin exudes a warm and luminous glow, complementing her dark, wavy hair that cascades in waves around her shoulders. Standing at a graceful height of 172cm

As they gathered around the table for dinner, we welcomed two new characters to our story: the youngest daughter, a six-year-old lively girl eyes that sparkle naturally and evoke the wonder of childhood. Wavy black hair a little girl full of energy, and the youngest son Eden a 10 year old boy, almond-shaped eyes, with a sparkle that reflects both curiosity and innocence eyebrows with natural, fine lines, a scattering of freckles across the bridge of his nose Render wavy, black hair and dark eyes and a height of 167cm.

The family continued their lively conversation, with Aria even playfully lamenting how Alexander and Lucenio had disrupted her garden during training.
"Mmm, this meal is delectable, as always, Aria," Alexander attempted to change the subject, and Lucenio chimed in, "Indeed, it's consistently delicious. Mom's food is unrivaled."
Aria rolled her eyes, smiling, and said, "Of course, it's delicious; I had a little assistance from a sweet angel," casting her gaze towards her young daughter. Alexander remarked, "In that case, I must savor every bite," saying so with a smile, and the daughter beamed with joy. The father inquired of his younger son, named Eden "How was your day, son? We missed you during our training. You need to focus more on honing your powers." "I know, Dad, but you know I have a passion for art. I wish to create something meaningful, not just engage in training. I aspire to use my powers to craft something beautiful," Eden hesitated and continued, "Father, this is yours and my brother's; it isn't mine. And why should I train when I have a guardian like my eldest brother, my mountain?

Additionally, I appreciate how you all support my pursuit of what I love. Let me show you my final work; wait." These words struck Lucenio deeply; he was content, coupled with an inexplicable smile, upon witnessing his father's disappointed expression, which the latter tried to conceal. Eden returned after a short time with an art piece, depicting a luminous fire lion combating a shadowy black snake, accompanied by angels.
"What are your thoughts?" Eden asked.
"It's... remarkable, truly!" Lucenio expressed it while somewhat moved.
"It's beautiful! Did you create this?" inquired Alexander.
"Yes, I utilized my element to make the colors and prepare the wood" Eden elucidated.
"Eden is a remarkable artist," Aria the mother declared happily.
Even Reya, his sister added, "Draw me next, brother."
Curious, Lucenio asked, "What does this art piece signify?"
Eden responded, "I truly don't know; I felt compelled to create it. I hope you liked it."
The family continued their dinner shared a joyful moment; however, while clearing the table, the mother, with a thoughtful expression, initiated a conversation about an upcoming family wedding. "So, do you agree to attend?" she gently inquired, her eyes fixed on her husband "Why do you keep bringing up this subject? I already said no” Alexander responded, his tone firm.
The children stood there, silent witnesses to their parents' unfolding discussion. "But we should go. The bride personally came here to deliver the invitation, and it's your family, after all," the mother explained, her gaze unwavering.
Alexander demeanor shifted to frustration. "If you've forgotten, they were the ones who cast me out. They declared me dead to them because I did my duty and made that decision for the greater good when I put that person away because of the danger that threatened thousands of people. Even my nephew, the one who once revered me as his hero, didn't stand by me. He didn't even bother to invite me!" Aria with a compassionate look, responded, " I understand your actions, but you also need to understand their perspective he isn’t a normal personto them. Besides, the groom seems like a decent person. She even came here herself because her fiancé was upset about your absence and desperately wanted you to be part of it." Lucenio, sensing an opportunity for reconciliation, interjected, "Father, perhaps it’s time to make amends. It could be a chance for our family to find peace and return to happiness." His younger siblings echoed the sentiment, urging their father to reconsider.
An air of tension enveloped the room, and the father unleashed an intensive aura, a fiery red, flickered briefly, revealing a small glimpse of Alexander’s powers that made the room and even the whole house shake. Lucenio, perceptive to the mounting tension, instinctively stepped forward, positioning himself protectively in front of his younger siblings. His stance conveyed a silent promise to shield them from the storm brewing by his father’s frustration till it was interrupted by a clash with a calming aura, a soothing white light bathed the room, creating a delicate dance of energies. And resulted in the disappearance of both powers, the calming aura was Aria’s.

Reluctantly, Alexander agreed after a brief internal struggle to reconsider after a day of reflection. The family, still tinged with the remnants of emotional turbulence, began to disperse. In the midst of all this conflict, Alexander caught a glimpse of his eldest son's protective gesture. Aria accepted this response and told the children to get ready for bed while they were leaving the room Lucenio met his fathers’ gaze. In that unspoken exchange, a silent act of praise from a lion to his cub silently acknowledged his son's protective stance, a testament to the enduring strength of family ties.

Later that night, as the siblings prepared for sleep, the two brothers, with a strong connection and the ability to discern each other's emotions at a glance, engaged in a conversation. Lucenio queried his younger brother, "Was the drawing a representation of dad?"
Eden admitted, "To be honest, I'm unsure. The vision of the drawing wasn't clear to me; I simply ignited my fire and created it."
"Is that why you seem concerned?" Lucenio asked.
 "Concerned?" questioned Eden.
Lucenio responded, "Don't try to hide it; I know you very well. Is the art piece the cause of your worry?"
Eden hesitated before confiding in his elder brother: "To be honest, this isn't the first one I've drawn; there is another, but I'm reluctant to show it."
His brother inquired, "What does it depict?"
Eden couldn’t explain it : "Okay, I’ll show you, but please don't inform our parents as they'll worry needlessly."

After scanning his surroundings, he revealed a slightly burnt and blackened piece of wood. "Look, this is the drawing." Lucenio examined the piece, finding it somewhat peculiar. "This is a bit unusual; this emblem is familiar to me, but I can't recall where. Nonetheless, don't fret about it; keep it concealed if you wish. It's not a cause for concern," reassured the elder brother.
Eden smiled, sharing a heartfelt embrace with his sibling before retreating to his bed. As the household surrendered to the tranquil realm of slumber, Lucenio found himself entangled in a distressing nightmare. Within the inky depths of an abyss, he lay sprawled on the floor, haunted by distant whispers compelling him to, "Do it. Unleash it. Kill it. Burn it. Remove your mask." Startled by something attacking him from the dark, the boy abruptly awoke.
His younger brother, stirred by the unsettling atmosphere, gently inquired, "Are you alright?"
"Yes, I had a nightmare. I think it's because I ate a bit too much during dinner."
Suddenly, a soft knock reverberated through the door. Tearful and with a tremor in her voice, their youngest sister sought refuge, asking, "Can I sleep next to you?" "Of course," responded lucenio.
"But what happened?" "I had a bad dream. I was flying, then I lost a wing and fell to an unknown scary place. I felt everything, big bro; I'm scared." While her tears kept coming down
Eden offered comforting words, "Don't worry, little sister; we're all here for you." Lucenio added, "Indeed, and when you take flight, we'll ensure to keep a vigilant watch and come to your aid if anything goes bad."
With a tone of relief, the girl asked, "Promise?"
They both reassured her, "Certainly."
together, they Slept in the same bed, the younger siblings finding solace in the protective embrace of their elder brother. As Lucenio, the solitary figure still immersed in wakefulness, wondered why both he and his sister experienced nightmares and whether there was a connection or if it was merely coincidence and why the voices were so unsettling as if it hit part of his soul.
