The chapter begins as the Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower enters the bakery through a dilapidated storefront. The bell above the door rings ominously as the 4 children steps inside, greeted by rows of towering shelves lined with freshly baked treats. The Bakery has a structure more similar to a factory, but has a disgusting looking inside. There are lumps of food sprayed in every corner of The Bakery. There is even a large meat grinder with intestines used as a rope. There are piles of rotten vegetables risen out of the ground. In the kitchen, there seems to be piles of ingredients stuffed in the oven and refrigerator. However, as they explores further, they soon realize that this bakery holds dark secrets beneath its sugary exterior.
- Bone: The inside is even worse than the outside...
- Kane: Keep your voices down. I don't want to know who controls this place
As the children explore the bakery's labyrinthine corridors, they catch glimpses of a tall figure moving in the shadows - the Baker. Towering over Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower, the Baker's silhouette is hulking and menacing, his body obscured by a fleshy flour-covered apron. He lacks a head and instead, he has sharp objects and fleshy wires that poke out from his neck hole. He is equipped with a huge sharp butcher knife. Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower must stealthily avoid the Baker's gaze as they navigate through the treacherous kitchen.
Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower find themselves trapped in the heart of the bakery's kitchen, where the Baker reigns supreme. Giant mixing bowls, oversized utensils, and bubbling cauldrons of dough fill the room, creating a surreal and terrifying landscape. The Baker prowls the kitchen, their monstrous form illuminated by flickering candlelight as he prepares his grotesque creations. He chops up large sacks and piles of corpses gotten from various body bags. He seems to enjoy ripping his corpses apart with pure force and loves using his giant butcher knife or even a hacksaw.
- Stellar: Ew...that's disgusting...
- Blower: Yeah, I want to get out of here.
Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower must hide among the towering ingredients and navigate the perilous obstacles to avoid becoming the Baker's next victim. After they sneak past The Baker in the kitchen area, Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower finds themselves lost in a labyrinth of confectionery delights, with towering stacks of cakes, pies, and pastries blocking their path at every turn. Each food item having a pulsating eyeball and humanoid teeth to watch their step. Sticky blood drips from the ceiling, forming puddles that slow the children's progress and attract the attention of hungry creatures lurking in the shadows.
- Kane: G-guts...so much guts...[Covers his nose from the smell]
The Creatures seem to be blobs of food mixed with the deceased spirits to give life. Kane is most concerned about the paranormal tendencies that The Empty Vile takes. Stellar is beyond horrified of this discovery and keeps hyperventilating. To escape, Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower must find a way to climb, jump, and swing their way through the maze before they're consumed by the sugary madness. They enter another area after they escape through a vent. However, the labyrinth only continues and gets worse.
During their stay in the Confectionary Labyrinth, the four children encounter a gauntlet of deadly pastries unleashed and created by the Baker to thwart intruders. The deadly pastries seem to have somehow been mixed and mangled by children's flesh and organs to give life, which force them into an endless rest of hunger. These creations don't seem to care about others but themselves. They show no remorse for their actions, wanting to jump and devour at any living sight, including animals like rats, birds, and even other children. Giant molten cinnamon rolls roll menacingly across the floor, while monstrous croissant children with razor-sharp edges threaten to slice the children to pieces. To survive, the 4 children must use their agility and quick reflexes to dodge the deadly treats and find a way to outsmart the Baker's twisted traps. Bone and Blower use their weaponry to defeat the pastry hungry children one by one. However, a larch freezer opens which unleashes a giant blob of The Baker's past victims, which is a food mass of children's arms, mouths, and eyeballs with it struggling to move in one direction. Each limb seems to have been decaying and seems to have been lacking any type of food source for a long time. During the chase, Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower fall into a dark room in the Bakery's basement via vent.
- Bone: Ow...my back...ugh...
- Kane: Everyone okay?
- Blower: Yeah, Stellar is okay.
- Little Red Boy: [Struggling to breath and speak] Hello...anyone there...
- Little Yellow Girl: [Struggling to breath and speak] Help...please...
Down there, the 4 children uncovers the Baker's darkest secret hidden deep within the bakery - a cellar filled with cages containing captured children destined to become the Baker's next batch of ingredients. The children looked as if they are close to starving to death and they are even chained up. Horrified by the sight, Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower find a way to release the prisoners and thwart the Baker's nefarious plans before it finds them. Once the children are all freed, they struggle to move.
- Little Yellow Boy: [Struggling to breath and speak] Thank you. Thank you. We need to go. [Leg bone nearly snaps from standing] Ow! Ow! Ow!
- Kane: Woah, take it easy.
- Bone: Yeah, you're pretty wrecked.
- Little Pink Girl: [Struggling to breath and speak] The Baker captured us and forced us to starve to death. The dead ones get taken and...we never hear what happens.
- Stellar: We'll get you out, we promise.
- Little Blue Boy: [Struggling to breath and speak] Thank you....
- Little Purple Girl: [Struggling to breath and speak] Yes, thank you.
- Blower: Grab onto us, we'll help you move.
Kane and Stellar help the children balance themselves while Bone and Blower clear the path to make sure they don't fall. Kane leads them in the prison hall, but The Confectionary Blob collapses through the floor and crushes a half of the children. The blob forces its way through the hall to reach and grab them. Due to the lack of food and pure starvation getting the best of them, the captured children aren't fast enough and collapse. The Blob grabs the collapsed children and quickly devours them. The Blob continues to chase Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower down the corridors. This goes on for a while until The Blob rolls its body through a wall and it falls down a dark empty abyss. Sadly, the children are crushed and fallen down, with Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower jumping towards a vent. Stellar and Bone tear up at the pure sight of the children being crushed.
- Stellar: We promised them freedom...
- Bone: I'm sorry, Stellar...
The children make their way into The Baker's lair which is a kitchen nightmare. There is a giant pot of boiling magma with it being held up by chains and a wooden conveyer belt moving children's body parts and several ingredients into the pot. The Baker was monitoring his cooking to create the best dish. He chops various large sacks of meat and splits them open. He reaches his arm inside and violently rips out organs. He also uses a hacksaw to cut a still alive pig in half. He does the same with a cat and then a horse. After the deed is done, he shoves the bodies in the pot. Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower care fully sneak past The Baker as he cooks. The baker was also baking flesh cakes. Stellar's stomach started to feel hungry again, so Kane decided to look for food under The Bakers feet.
- Stellar: OW...my stomach.
- Blower: Stomach pains? You must be hungry, but that has to wait...
- Kane: I can't. I'll just sneak some food for her. Wait here.
Kane manage to get half rotten foods and put them in his pockets, but The Baker catches sight of Kane, then chase him. Kane ran and go under large continents of baker ingredients. After that, he ran a large pantry with boxes of food. He quickly shuts the door.
- Kane: Shoot! This was a bad idea. He's coming! Think of something...think of...I got it.
Kane had a plan to lead the Baker into his own pot. The Baker slam through the door, Kane dashes underneath his legs. Kane runs towards the pot and attempts to tip it over, but Kane gets heavily burnt.
- Kane: OW!!! I could sure use Blue's help right about now...
Kane sees Bone using his black whip to his jars and make glass collapse onto the floor which causes The Baker to pierce his feet. The Baker attempts to crawl towards Bone and Blower on top of a shelf. Kane quickly shoots an electronic bolt to electrocute him, but once again, this causes Kane severe amounts of pain and his hand starts to turn black with purple vains. An unknown voice speaks to kane when this happens. "DO YOU FEEL IT?!" The voice sounds like a demonic voice echoing through Kane's mind. Kane slowly stops what he's doing and freezes.
- Stellar: KANE?!?
Kane snaps back to reality and sees an electrocuted Baker reach down for him. Kane shoots another purple bolt from his hands, which sends The Baker into the pot, where he is burnt gruesomely to death. Kane watches as the Baker's skin melts off and sinks into the pot. The pot's liquid turns into a gooey black and the Baker's body disolves. The liquid starts to leak out and burn into the floor. Stellar helps Kane up and the 4 of them run away from the burning. The 4 children quickly escape as The Bakery is consumed by the acid black liquid.
After escaping The Bakery, Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower will be in a dark alleyway after going through out the Bakery's window. They continue wandering the streets of The Empty Vile, they will come across a hole in a fence that is blocked by a dumpster that Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower need to move. After moving the dumpster and going through the hole, Kane, Stellar, Bone, and Blower will be in the destroyed playground, which has the appearance of a military training ground mixed with a children's playground, of the Academy and will need to climb a makeshift rope to get to the second floor of the building.
