Rayne woke up in Rurima’s house alone. Nobody was there as she did her daily routine but there was a text on her phone. It was from Rurima and it said that she and Simon were going on a trip and that they'd be back in a few days. She also said that Rare got called into the hospital to do an emergency surgery and she probably wouldn't be home. They left a trusted driver if Rayne needed to go anywhere. Rayne, not wanting to be alone in the house, wanted to go to the hospital as all of the Trinity doctors and nurses were like family to her. She walked out of the house and the driver was there to meet her. He asked where she wanted to go and she told him where. He started the car and proceeded to drive to the hospital. On the way there, a few unknown cars pulled up and surrounded the car.
Rayne was in the back seat when the unknown persons in the surrounding cars used their magical abilities to flip the car over. Her driver died on impact but Rayne had put her aura around her before the impact, saving her life. This, however, didn’t stop her from getting hurt and she was too injured to fight back. Before she was knocked out, she asked why. The guys who attacked her just smiled. When she woke up she was in an unknown place where she was unable to use her abilities and her phone was not on her. Rayne knew how to stay calm in these types of situations but she needed to know who the kidnappers were. So she asked them if they knew who she was and why they were after her. One man told her to shut her trap. He said the boss would be there soon. She felt she had no choice but to wait and see what she was dealing with.
When Grunthos showed up, opening the door, the guys bowed their heads. He told them they did a superb job and then went to the room that Rayne was in. When she saw him, she cringed but tried to keep her composure. Grunthos licked his lips and explained to Rayne that he was going to play a game with the other Pistols and that she was the grand prize. He told her to sit tight until the final show began and then he walked out the room, laughing. Rayne started to tear up because she knew that there was nothing she could do but wait.
Meanwhile, every Pistol got a text from Rayne's phone telling them that she had a surprise for them and a location and time to meet her. Rare got out of her surgery and checked the text. The other Pistols were at the hospital to pick Rare up and they all went to the spot together, wondering what it could be. When they got there, something seemed strange. Where was Rayne to meet them and why were they at an abandoned building? Rare called Rayne's phone but the voice that came out was Grunthos’ voice and not Rayne's. This sent a shocking chill into everyone and Grunthos told the Pistols that the only way to get Rayne back was to kill him with their most powerful Pistol shots. He hung up the phone and the Pistols knew it was a trap. But if it was to get Rayne back there was nothing they could do but go along with it.
They all entered the building that was already covered in Grunthos’ Toxic Arena. Each of them tried to stay together, but soon got split up. Grunthos attacked them all in almost the same way he did the first time. The results this time were a bit different with each of the Pistols now knowing how to use their abilities better due to the training they received. Grunthos wasn't getting what he wanted so he moved to the next part of his plan, telling them that the gas was going to kill Rayne if they didn't shoot him with everything they had. He then had toxic clones of himself show up in different parts of the Arena, one for each Pistol. They powered up their shots and fired at the fake Grunthos clones, hitting them. At least, they thought they did. As soon as the shots hit, instead of seeing Grunthos, they saw Rayne getting hit by the shots. They were all shocked, knowing there was a trap in place but still feeling like this was going too far.
Grunthos started to laugh outrageously, thinking that he got them to kill their little Grey Pistol. But there was a twist in that logic as Rayne started to glow. Her eyes were Rainbow in color and she got up and yelled out, “Great Pistol Power!” This caused her to have a different look, her clothing turning Rainbow in color. Rayne used an ability known as The Great Pistol, a blast move that caused Grunthos’ Toxic Arena to blast away. Grunthos was now vulnerable and the Pistols didn't hesitate to attack, quickly hitting Grunthos with a barrage of assaults.
Demetria used her chain attack to chain Grunthos up, but, unlike last time, the Toxic Arena was gone. Angie and Kanu shot Grunthos over and over making all the toxins dissipate out of his body until he was getting hits to his body. They stopped shooting him, seeing Sotto and Godfrey rush him. Each of them was hitting him with a barrage of strikes and kicks. Rayne went up to Grunthos, charging up and pointing her pistol right into his face, but stopped, saying that she didn't want to kill him. She walked away from him. Rare, on the other hand, walked right up to Grunthos telling him that she didn't have a problem killing him and that she developed a poison just for guys like him. She shoved her gun into his mouth and pulled the trigger. Nothing happened for a few seconds and Grunthos thought he was okay but then, all of a sudden, his body started to melt away. First, his eyes started to liquefy, then the rest of his body started to do the same thing. Grunthos started to speak as his body was slowly melting away. He yelled that this was all Lucas's plan and if he knew that this was going to be the result, he wouldn't have done it. With that, Grunthos was just a heap of melted flesh and bone. Rayne's great pistol power was gone as she fainted. Godfrey caught her before she fell to the ground and the rest of the Pistols knew Rayne was a great fit to lead now that they knew that she was the great pistol. They left the building and went back to Rurima’s place to tell her everything that happened.
