Meanwhile, our thieves take stock of what they've gotten today.
- Theo's family crest
- Piece of paper with Nagisa's name written in Japanese
- Eiji's sheath medallion
- Verity's octopus plush
- Photo from Micah's room
- Chiaki's UsaMaMa-chan
Context is given for some of the more odd things taken, but the end result is... it's not much. With the exception of the medallion and maybe the crest, nothing is terribly valuable. But Jude saw a language they didn't recognize and thought it was some ancient script (it's not). Harley just clumsily forgot to put something they were looking at back down. And Arc is a child who found a toy that reminds her of her mom (Arc is signing "mother" in panel 5, by the way).
Perhaps the most intriguing one is actually Rhys who took UsaMaMa-chan because he too is Unbound! He knows exactly what it is. It's hard to say why he took it at this time (since he doesn't say), but it is this detail that highlights to him that the kids in Golem Hall probably aren't nobles.
Oh, and the last part under Chapter End reads "Oh, sure. Now they realize." XD
And we'll leave it at that for now. This is the last page for the chapter. This will be followed by a three week break while I continue to work on my Chapter 5 buffer (and if you follow me on social media, starting next week I plan to share bios for newer characters on post days too, so it's a break, but not really). Ideally, by the time that's all done, I'll be set and ready to just jump into posting Chapter 5 right after.
"Okay, so tomorrow, we break back into Golem Hall, return this junk (with an apology note) and then break into Dragon Hall and steal all their stuff instead? Oh, and we buy Golem Hall pizzas, too."
Follows the strange story of Chiaki, a daydreaming otaku who longs to confess her feelings to her childhood friend, Fumiko, and how that's made especially difficult when she gets transported to another world...
