Once found, Kiri picked up Vee while the rest of his family reprimanded him for his 'senseless yelling', only to find out that an evacuation was set in place. Kiri's family didn't bother apologizing and went straight to packing their stuff up. The only thing Kiri needed to do was put Vee in it's Vix carrier, since he barely owned anything.

When done, Kiri and his family all ran out of their house looking for an escape pod, hundreds of other civilians were also searching for escape pods everywhere. Their time was running low, some soldiers were already banging on the opening to the hive. When they finally found one, Kiri and his vix felt a wave of relief run through their body, but before they could even set foot into the escape pod their family pushed them away, laughing hysterically as they locked the door to the escape pod right before activating it. 

Kiri and Vee didn't even have enough time to process this, the queen ant had already broken into the hive. A desperate attempt was made and Kiri broke through one of the many hexagonal windows, flying through the void of space as fast as he could without the function allowing him to fly at the speed of light. While fleeing, he noticed an ant being chased by some soldiers. Assuming it was a refugee, Kiri flew up to him and carried him off the artificial-ground he stood on. Soldiers shot at them, threw spears and eventually damaged one of Kiri's wings, forcing xem to fly at the maximum speed towards a planet that was off the spacial map. Planet Istos. 

Their landing was harsh, Kiri landed on his back which shattered his wings and got him bruised severely by many rocks while the ant he rescued had been stabbed by a tree branch. The only thing that protected Vee from any damage was the bubble-shaped carrier that broke due to the impact. Flying that fast had also exhausted Kiri so much that he couldn't even push himself up. The ant which he helped earlier carried him and his vix to areas that had less trees, he thought that if they got to the point where they stood in a tree-less area, they might just find a little town there. 

For one hour, the ant searched. 

For two hours, the ant searched.

Three more hours passed and he still was searching.

When he spent four hours searching, the sky was already green instead of the usual purple of the planet. That was the sunset here, the sunsets here were a green color. Eventually after another 2 hours, the ant had given up. He searched for the coziest tree there was and laid the bee down in front of it before sitting down next to him himself, he too began passing out. The vix sat on Kiri's lap as it meowed for help, but it seemed like nobody could hear it no matter how hard it tried. Vee didn't give up though, it didn't want to give up. Fortunately, its efforts didn't amount to nothing.

A spider named Ione happened to be on his daily walk of the evening when he heard it, immediately he ran towards the sound. The spider hoped that nobody was hurt as he kept running towards the sound. He found himself in front of two arthropods who were out cold, along with their vix who's tail wagged from the joy it felt knowing someone came to help. Ione picked the small creature up and temporarily placed it in his bag, before picking up Kiri and the ant. Ione now began walking back home.
