Jon barks his order as follows: "Now, men, thrust your spear forward now.” 

The beast's claws nearly struck both men since they were unable to comply with the order quickly enough. Fortunately, it missed them, and they took advantage of the situation by stabbing the beast in the chest with their fangs.

The creature was roaring, letting out a deafening screech as it felt the pain from being attacked. Steve and Kevin felt proud of what they had done, but just like the weather, the battlefield changes in an instant. 

“Get down and move out of the way, guys!!” Jon shouted as quickly as possible.

A huge bird twice the size of a green lizard drops into the battle; its face looks like death itself due to how ugly it is. The Creature uses both its talons to grip the green lizard's sides and lift it up into the air. Before it could fully disappear from their sight, Jon activated his skill called analysis. With his glowing eyes, Jon looked in the direction of the gigantic bird and saw his stats.

Description: As its name implies, this creature is a vicious beast that feeds on its enemies, who are either dead or weak. This enormous creature is reported to be so repulsive that it resembles death itself. It is also claimed that its razor-sharp talons can cut through iron like butter. This type of monster only appears when large numbers of corpses are within the area. Even though they are scavengers, they are never seen alone; instead, they frequently show up in big groups and fly in what are known as "death roost chains" (this refers to how they fly around and gather their target heads in a circle) circles above the region.

Jon took a look above and saw multiple savage johncrows; they were flying around in a perfect circle. Jon, for the first time since the world had turned upside down, felt terror once more. The whole situation seemed to have taken a bad turn; he was sweating a bit and seemed to be stiff with fear. But Jonathan still opened his mouth and shouted at people.

“RUN NOW!! AWAY FROM HERE, QUICKY!!”

All the people started to run away while scattering in a panic. Three of the savage John crows flew down from their “death roost chains” and dove down to pick up the dead green lizards one by one. Some even flew off with the whole bus of dead people, using the razor-sharp talons to lift up the whole vehicle. 

Jon started to regret his decision; his thoughts were chaotic, and his breathing started to become heavier and heavier. His hands started to shake for a bit, and his confidence kept dropping more and more. And to make the whole situation worse, through the corner of his eyes, Jon saw a savage Johncrow aiming to attack one of the injured passengers. 

With its enormous wings creating massive clouds of dust at high speeds, the beast moved so quickly that it was only inches away from its prey. The passage that was about to be attacked seems to be an injured female with minor cuts all over, standing there looking into the beast's eyes as her final moment comes near. 

 Some sort of bright light appears, for instance, blocking the bird's powerful and sharp talons. A massive cloud of dust was made due to the impact of the bird's claws and the quick speed it displayed toward its target, Jon was helpless, not being able to stop it. What was seen in the aftermath was Melissa standing before the injured woman and the savage Johncrow, with a thin, transparent barrier between them.

But the barrier had multiple cracks all over from the single impact; it was crumbling to nothing as Meilssa was sweating with a lot of heavy breathing.

“ Thank …God, I made it in time…” she let out a few words in her weak state. 

( It was fortunate that I looked through my abilities on the Dungeon app. Acting quickly and imitating that person truly helps to save this woman's life.) Melissa ruminated to herself as the barrier gradually gave way.   

Jon, seeing that the barrier could collapse any second, wanted to help. But his body won't listen to any of his commands; it is just stiffened with fear, causing it to be unresponsive. Jonathan knows it is now or never and that people are counting on him. But in his moment of weakness in dealing with such emotions again, he inhaled and then exhaled, calming his mind. 

“Ignorant Bliss Active," he whispered to himself.

While the Savage Johncrow’s talon was only an inch away from Melissa's face, the situation had become critical as the bird's nasty class ripped a hole through an already weak barrier. Meanwhile, Jon was sprinting towards her in hopes of freeing her from such bad situation.

Not a second later, the whole barrier crumbled to pieces with the razor-sharp talons only a few inches in Melissa’s face. With the sounds of heavy breathing and footsteps getting closer and closer, Melissa saw Jon appear right before her eyes with his knife in hand. Using his reliable lizard knife, he cuts the bird's talons, causing a shallow incision that oozes blood everywhere.

“Run and gather everyone far from these terrible birds.” Jonathan orders Melissa as he plans to take on the savage Johncrows himself. She left and, with the woman she saved, went to gather all of the 10 people in a spot.

“Well, it seems like it was a miracle that I escaped from all those savage Johncrows,” he commented on what happened previously.  

“Though it did cause various minor injuries, it was amazing that I could come out alive.” He kept speaking on the matter. 

 As night fell, noises of all kinds could be heard from the streets as he and the other ten passengers continued to travel towards their destination. They illuminate their path with their cellphones, acting as torches. Jon, as the vanguard noted, started to see the brick walls of the Elletson Road police station.

"It Looks like we finally reached everybody; soon we can rest,” he said to the other 10 people. All the people were lit up as they felt that they had all reached the finish line of the race. 

BANG BANG!!!

We could hear cries coming from inside the police station, along with gunshots coming from there.

“What the heck is going on?”
