Ravi slammed the door behind him and was startled to find Adrian floating by the window, his wings flapping, hands folded across his chest, wearing a smug expression. He knew all too well that this creature was the one responsible for the chaos Ravi had just experienced. Ravi quickly moved to the window, fists clenched in anger, a sharp gaze directed at him with disapproval. He opened the window with a loud creak. "You're the problem here."
The man, still grinning in the same posture, made Ravi long to lash out at Adrian for using harsh words he had never directed at anyone else. Ravi had no idea how Adrian was capable of doing this to him, but the fact that this man with white wings was not human should have made it possible. Ravi heard a loud knock from outside his room and momentarily ignored it.
"Want me to put on a show? Unfortunately, not right now. We'll see tonight," the man said casually, but Ravi knew that something terrible was bound to happen to him later.
"What are you going to do?" Ravi raised his voice, casting a piercing gaze at the man. He was quietly concerned about the safety of his family. If anything happened to them, Ravi wouldn't stand idly by.
"What I'm going to do..."
The man trailed off, but suddenly Ravi moved swiftly towards his study desk, opening one of the drawers to grab a pair of scissors. Ravi knew what would happen next, especially now that he was once again standing in front of the window, like a puppet being controlled, his eyes unable to lie as they locked onto Adrian's widening grin. Ravi's mouth remained tightly sealed, no matter how hard he tried, and outside his room, someone was attempting to break down his door.
Ravi's hand moved automatically, cutting through his own clothes until he was free from them, as Adrian spoke to him once more. "Which part would you like to be painted red?"
A shiver ran through Ravi's entire body as the wind from those wings hit his bare skin. Now, the scissors he tightly held in his hand were pointed directly at his stomach, causing his heart rate to skyrocket. He had no control over his own body. Was he about to die?
The silver-haired man approached the window, but as he drew near, the door burst open with Daniel and Raymond storming in, their anger radiating around them. Raymond was right by his side, snatching the scissors from Ravi's hand and throwing them out of reach.
"It's better if you leave. If you cause any more chaos like this, then I—"
"What will you do?" Adrian interrupted Daniel casually, with a mocking tone. Ravi was still catching his breath, holding onto Raymond tightly, realizing that he was now free from Adrian's control.
The silver-haired man's gaze returned to Ravi, causing Raymond to shift and stand right in front of Ravi. However, the man seemed to ignore Raymond and Daniel's presence around him, instead capturing Ravi's gaze and saying, "The plan has changed."
Then, Adrian left, leaving Daniel with a snort. He directed his gaze back at Ravi and grabbed a blanket to wrap himself, but Ravi pushed it away and took the clothes from his wardrobe to put them back on.
"What did he say to you, Ravi?"
Ravi remained silent, choosing instead to sit at his study desk and turn on his laptop, completely ignoring the two of them. He truly disliked the fact that Daniel had been keeping something from him about his own past that Ravi couldn't remember. Daniel must be involved with people like Raymond and Adrian, and the suspicion in Ravi's mind that Daniel was a part of them made him suddenly feel queasy.
For the first time, as Ravi looked at the figure of Adrian conversing with Daniel, he realized that everything around him was starting to feel unfamiliar. He couldn't fathom why this was happening to him.

"What's your real motive?" Ravi asked, unable to handle the multitude of questions flooding his mind.
There was a snort, and Adrian's mouth formed a hard line, his eyes gleaming as he stared at Ravi. "Revenge."
"Revenge?"
"The person you took into your home is the same one who slaughtered all the inhabitants of my mansion."
Ravi fell silent, finding it hard to immediately believe what Adrian was telling him. The man continued, "Are you sure that Daniel is your brother, and they are your family? Do you even remember what you were like a few years ago, at least?"
Ravi was naturally taken aback, especially by Adrian's knowledge that something had happened to him, causing him to forget his past.
"Why are you telling me this?" Ravi honestly didn't understand Adrian's purpose and motive in doing this. He wanted revenge, but he was also revealing the truth.
"You can't answer that because your entire family has lied to you. Who can you trust now?"

"Ravi?" Raymond's voice snapped him out of his reverie, so Ravi immediately turned on any video to watch and turned up the volume. He hoped they would leave his room now, as Ravi suddenly just wanted to be alone.
In his silence, he thought back to the possibility that Adrian might be right about Daniel. Ravi also couldn't remember anything about his past, only recalling the past two years. He had believed what they told him about memory loss due to an accident, but he hadn't suffered any injuries from that accident, and now Ravi was beginning to question himself.
"Ravi?" Daniel shook his shoulder, but Ravi didn't respond. He just didn't know what to do. "Ravi, what's wrong? Is something amiss? Did that man do something to you?"
Ravi looked at his brother, and he should have been relieved that they indeed bore some resemblance to each other. He shouldn't have to dwell on what Adrian had said. The man intended to seek revenge, and of course, he was looking for an opportunity to do so.
Ravi blinked, rose from his seat, and walked over to the bed after picking up the blanket lying on the floor. He wrapped himself in the blanket, no longer concerned about his surroundings; he just wanted to be alone this time.
"Ravi, what's wrong? Don't stay silent like this," Daniel kept on asking, and when would it stop?
It eventually led Ravi to lower his blanket and look directly into Daniel's tired eyes, asking, "Daniel, who am I?"
