I guess the moral of this story is nothing is safe, nothing is sacred. Before I got into drawing comics I taught creative writing. I really enjoyed writing short stories, but I wasn't very good at ending them... so I would usually just kill the main character in the last paragraph, and it was always in the most unceremonious way possible: dropping a car on their head, toaster in the bathtub, unknown allergy to Creme Brulé, those kinds of things. I can't guarantee the safety of Kram and Bot, but I hope the payout will be meaningful regardless.
