Alaric intervened, "Alexander, this seems a bit extreme. The boy went down with one hit; he's no match for you, and he doesn't even have powers to defend himself."
"If you want to help, fight me with him or stay next to your son. It's early for him to lose his father," Alexander challenged.
Alaric stepped back towards his son, who pleaded for intervention.
However, Kai said, "This is Lucenio's biggest fear and challenge. Let's see if he can overcome it."
You can run now, Lucenio. We can go back home, but you need to forget about being a warrior and you Stop training, or we will fight now. But son, this is no normal brawl. If you lose today, I'll have to visit one more grave," Alexander warned.
Lost in thought, pressured and fearful, Lucenio struggled to his feet. "My mom told me that running away sometimes isn't wrong, and I promised her I wouldn't take on more than I can handle."
"We leave then," Alexander added,
quickly grabbing his sword.Lucenio dashed to strike his father with all his might, but Alexander effortlessly defended, leaving a wind wave resulted from the impact.
"To Mom, for breaking a promise," Lucenio declared with a villainous smile.
"I promise you, son, I'll cry at your grave. But do you have what it takes to kill me?"
"Father, I'm scared. I'm facing the strong lion of the south. But after this fight, they will call me the lion slayer!" Lucenio's eyes glinted with a mix of fear and excitement as he laughed manically.
Alexander met his son's laughter with his own. "Come at me, you weakling! I am the demon hero of Trident Mountain, the empire's beast.Show me what my son's got!"
Kai,Alaric,Edmund and Nolan froze in place, shocked by what they were witnessing. "How can a little boy
have this killing look in his eye?" asked Alaric
The father released a strong aura, his eyes glowing red, even his teeth showing his intentions. Kai, who faced many enemies, feared this view as old memoriesflooded his mind. What made him even more worried was the look in the boy's eyes, as if he were enjoying this.
The boy continued laughing, saying, "This is fun! A magnificent, scary aura so I need to kill this beast?! Oh well you've lived enough old man"he kept laughing with a mix of fear and excitement.
"No, he is not a lion; he is a vicious wolf. This fight will be dangerous," added Edmund. "Young Master Nolan, get behind us!" Alaric thought, "This boy doesn't have powers, but why am I this scared of a young boy showing us his fangs?"
The son brandished his dagger and sword, and the father with his spear collided in an intense
clash. The collision spread a wave of wind, and they fought viciously. But most of the fight was
Lucenio dodging the strong attacks of Alexander that the impact of this spear was enough to cut
trees down.
The son defended with his sword and dodged, trying to land a hit or at least touch his father's
armor. Eventually, a strong cut on his body made the boy fly, The hit left a great cut from the
right part of his body till his left shoulder and the father taunted, "Is that enough? Do you yield?"
Touching his wound, Lucenio replied, "It mostly hit my armor. I'm okay." However, his light
armor started cracking, and some of it fell off, hanging by a thread. Lucenio continued, "It's a
brand new armor; you are paying anyway." The boy then removed the damaged armor, revealing
a determination to continue the fight.
"Now, let's have fun," Lucenio said with a smirk. With a fast move, Lucenio attacked his father
with lightning speed, leaving traces of dust behind him. The four watchers couldn't believe that a
seemingly powerless boy possessed such strength. Nolan remarked, "So, this is what happens
when you train every day till death."
With his lightning speed, Lucenio attacked his father from all directions. Although the father
defended with accuracy till Lucenio put all his powers in his sword attack but again Alexander
defended it by his spear but to everyone surprise Lucenio tied a knot to his sword's handle,
attaching the spear to it. He then stabbed the sword into the mountain, using his dagger for
continuous hits and fast cuts. The father, unable to react, finally screamed, "Enough!" and pushed
his son away with a burning aura. Make the boy retreat couple of steps behind bruning and
cauterizing the wound from earlier.
"Can you fight seriously now?" Lucenio asked with a smirk.
Alexander laughed heartily, "You are really my son. That was a smart move. You gave me more
scars than most people could." The son smiled, and the father added, "Stop talking; let's continue
now."
But before they continued, the father wanted to show something. He asked Lucenio to describe
his feelings as his aura underwent a dramatic transformation. The dark red aura shifted from a
radiant, fiery glow to an intense, dark luminescence, crackling and flickering. The very air
seemed to submit to the warrior's might, and the ground trembled beneath him. The surroundings
were set ablaze, and nature succumbed to the searing heat of his aura. With each step, alexander's
presence commanded attention, and an entourage of power manifested around him. His
silhouette towered like a lion on two feet, regal and fierce, holding a spear with an air of mastery.
The ground quivered beneath the weight of his purpose, and the air itself seemed to vibrate with
the anticipation of the impending clash.
As the warrior advanced, the surroundings were set ablaze, and the leaves were consumed by the
searing heat of his aura. A trail of destruction marked his path, with smoldering remnants of
nature left in his wake. The air shimmered with an intensity that mirrored the warrior's
unwavering determination, as if the very atmosphere acknowledged the formidable force in its
midst. The fear was the only feeling that our characters felt; Alexander then asked, "Now, son,
this is the true power of the Trident Demon. I can go even further, but I don't want to harm the
audience, or any life in the surroundings. How are you feeling? What are you going to do?"
The son took steps back, still facing his father, and then stopped, smiling. "I'm dying anyway, so
let me go in a fashionable way." He laughed and said, "If you want me to describe what I'm
feeling in one word – amusing!" These words shocked everyone there. Alaric couldn't move a
muscle, and Kai, sweating, couldn't describe what he was witnessing – a mighty monster against
a cub, or more to be more accurate a wolf against a lion.
Lucenio took his attacking position, holding his dagger next to his face, unable to hide his
excitement. Surprising everyone, alexander suppressed his aura, put down his spear, and said,
"You are really my son. I used to win battles before even using this level, and you didn't even
hesitate in wanting to attack me. If you stood in front of me, no easy opponent could defeat you,
This world is for the strongest and for the one who stays on his path no matter what. I don't know
what you thought about during the fight that gave you these powers, but I don't mind it.
Everyone has their motive, and they alone decide if it's the right one or not." The boy listened
with relief to his father's thoughts before falling down maintaining his conscience thinking to
himself “I wish I can explain what im thinking father but these voices will turn me nuts” looking
at his left hand he saw the old wound reopening and the blood was suddenly black the same as
last time so he hide his hand looking at his other wounds where blood sustained the same blood
color “you will attend the exam get ready but you need to understand one thing you have powers
I sensed it and honestly was not sure until I got cut by your dagger. ”Thank you, father I’ll try toapply, this advice and I promise I’ll go take the exam”
before anyone could say anything, Lucenio added "Thank the heavens we did not do this fight in
my mom's garden, or she would have killed us both!" They all laughed, imagining the absurdityof such a scenario.
"Yes, it would have been the end for all of us," Kai remarked, still in awe of the intense battle he
had just witnessed while Alaric stood there chocked of what he saw especially after Alexander
removed his vest revealed signs of fatigue and fresh small scars that he got from this fight that he
never got from most battles.
The injuries he had sustained were taking their toll on the young boy. The battlefield fell silent as
everyone processed the intensity of the fight and its aftermath. Alexander holds his boy in hands and they all returned home to mark the end of this long journey.
