Ironically the creature used this same extremity to knock Sinclair off his feet and send him flying in the air. The impact was so powerful that it tore the cutter from the man’s hands.

Mara was finally strong enough to rise and get out of her container. She momentarily regained full control of her faculties and put them to good use. The cutter which Sinclair had dropped - came in very handy.
