Mara remained uneasy about the situation, vividly recalling the details of her captivity. “He attempted to convert me into one of them, but he grew furious when my mind resisted his influence... He kept saying there was something binding me to you, and for his plan to succeed, either you had to die or join them,” she explained, turning to Sinclair with a questioning look. In an attempt to find a silver lining, she tried to salvage something positive from the situation.
“You know what, Sinclair? He managed to convert an entire damn colony into his zombies, but he failed with us! There must be something special between us. There must be a reason why fate brought us here...”
