Izzy: (trying not to cry) Okay,,,

Sneak and Peek: (both hugging her and actually crying) We're gonna miss you!!

(Montage of the families interacting with each other; Chip and Hide are doing the handshake Chip and Ellis did all the way back on page 370. Boots and Noah are shaking hands. Izzy and Crowns are fist bumping in the bg. Ellis is getting tackled by Hide and is about to be tackled by Pans too. They finally all wave goodbye as the Shadow family walks back towards the forest, but Noah takes a moment to pause and start narrating.)

Noah: (narrating) I didn't realize how long its been...

Noah, narrating: When we said goodbye to Lyn due to her own family issues- something about her brother going through something- (we see an image of Lyn turning back to the camera with tears in her eyes and a hand over her mouth) ...we didn't realize then that that would be the last time it would feel like an actual family lived in this house.

Izzy and I went to college pretty much right after that, so Ellis had to live and travel with our parents since there was no one at the house for him. (We see Ellis, around 11 years old, separated from a 17 and 18 year old Izzy and Noah by the text.)

Thinking back on how he didn't grow up with them like we did... (we see Lionel and Trish, the Clark parents, happily greeting a very nervous Ellis) ... it must have felt super weird to have to travel around the world with what were essentially strangers to him. (Lionel is placing a hand on Ellis' shoulder as Ellis' looks behind him, unsure.)
