CHAPTER 7
SUGGESTIONS
I dreamed about an old apartment with broken windows. An old lady sat by a fireplace. She was wearing all black. She looked old but young at the same time. She resembled Mother Gothel from Tangled. The chair she sat in started to rock and her long, wispy gray hair fluttered behind her.
“Run, run while you still can, little girl. Go quick. She’s coming.”
The old Lady whispered softly. I didn’t move. She turned around and said,
“Go child, run where you can be safe.” She waited expectantly and then sighed as I still didn’t move. “
Fine girl, be stubborn. Well, you may even not die!”
She cackled as the wind blew debris around. “
I suppose I will give you guidance, I owe your father that much.”
I woke up. I looked around the room and it was empty, nothing, not even the counter, no blood, no picture. My name was no longer carved into the wall but there was something scratched into the now wide open door.
78th Dead Alley, Venice, Italy.
I ran up the stairs and bumped into Evaya and screamed
“Why are we in Italy?!!”
“What are you talking about? We are definitely not in Italy! Who have you been talking to? I was just coming to say sorry for the unexpected kiss and the hand over the mouth.”
Evaya said
“So we’re not in Italy?” I asked, very puzzled
“No, where did you even get that idea?” She asked, just as confused as I was.
“Walk with me.”
I told her, willing to forgive and hopefully forget about the kiss. We traveled down the stairs to the room I got trapped in. The room was still empty but there were no longer words on the door. She walked up the stairs and probably thought I was slightly going crazy. I looked around the room when Ady came down.
“What are you doing?” She asked me.
“This room had my name carved on the wall repeatedly and a picture of me, my mom, my dad and my sister. There was blood on the wall. The door was locked. I fell asleep then when I woke up it was gone then there were words on the door.”
I wasn’t sure if she would believe me or not, I wasn’t even sure if I believed myself.
“Okay. What was your dream about and what did it say on the door?”
Adyson asked, confident she was going to find a secret clue
“I dreamed about an old apartment with broken windows. Then there was an old lady sitting by the fireplace. She was wearing all black. She looked old but young at the same time. The chair she sat in started to rock. She told me to run. She turned around and told me that I needed to leave while I still could. Then I woke up and the door was wide
open and there were words there. 78th Dead Alley Venice Italy” I told her, leaving out the part about my Dad, hoping she would find something.
“Okay. The address probably has something to do with this Mistress everyone is talking about.”
Adyson said, still contemplating what I had just told her.
“Well there was my name carved into the wall a bunch. There was also a picture of my family. With a knife through my dad’s head and a plate through my mom’s chest”
“Is that it?”
She asked.
“No. There was a counter and on the counter there was a green liquid that just sat there with duct tape next to it.” I answered.
Adyson’s voice went cold.
“What if the mistress wants to kill you and your whole family?”
