Dead Man's card

Predator of Predator

Predator of Predator

Apr 05, 2024

The city of Worcester, renowned for its technological advancements and cutthroat business environment, thrived on a relentless pursuit of success.

This is the place where only two categories exist, the prey and the predator. Those adept at navigating the treacherous currents of ambition and greed survived, while the naive fell victim to the machinations of the powerful elite.

But people forgot that the food chain is a triangle and only one can sit at the top. The one who is capable of feasting on predators is the "Hunter" aka "Raven Grey," who spun the unbreakable web across the world over the years.

Raven Grey, a figure shrouded in mystery and feared by all who dared to cross him. Known to the world as the formidable proprietor of Altron Groups, Raven inherited his empire from his grandfather at a remarkably young age. But it was his ruthless ambition and cunning intellect that propelled him to unparalleled heights of success.

People had a hunch that they should expect nothing less from the successor of the Grey's. But no one expected that he would exceed everyone's expectations.

For nearly a decade, Raven expanded his business empire across international borders, dominating industries ranging from hospitality and pharmaceuticals to entertainment and automotive. Under his leadership, Altron Groups became an indomitable force, its influence felt in every corner of the globe.

Yet, behind the facade of corporate success lurked a darker truth. Raven Grey was not merely a businessman; he was also the enigmatic leader of a clandestine underworld syndicate known as "The Viper."

Vipers are known for their notorious way of doing underground works. They coil their ways around enemies and squeeze them slowly and smoothly until they cannot breathe and get down on their knees.

As their leader Raven was someone who is not trifled with. They know Raven Grey as the undefeatable opponent to fighters in fighting grounds, a beast to his rivals, as cruel as sin, as dark as the mysteries of night, and finally a living devil to those who mess with him.

And so, it was a curious sight indeed to see Raven Grey, the feared mafia boss, confronted by his own four-year-old son, Aiden Grey. As the saying goes "A wild goose never lays a lame egg", Aiden Grey, the only son of Raven Grey stood undaunted and reverted back the same stern look at his father.

With a raised brow, Raven addressed his son, his voice betraying a hint of amusement.

"Where did you disappear early this morning?"

Pointing to himself with a finger, Aiden replied nonchalantly, "Me? Nowhere. I just woke up."

Raven's smirk deepened as he observed his son's confident demeanour. "Just woke up? You seem far too alert for someone who just rolled out of bed."

Shrugging indifferently, Aiden quipped, "Well, I guess I'm just blessed with good genes."

Raven chuckled softly, lowering himself to squat before his son. With a gentle touch, he brushed a stray droplet from the corner of Aiden's mouth, a playful glint in his eyes.

"Next time, remember to wipe your drool before running somewhere," he teased.

Aiden's eyes widened in disbelief, darting towards the bathroom with lightning speed. Slamming the door shut, he protested, "No, you're lying! I didn't drool!"

As Raven watched his son's hasty retreat, a rare smile graced his lips. In that fleeting moment, the fearsome mafia boss was simply a father enjoying a playful exchange with his son.

Before departing for work, Raven instructed the butler to keep a watchful eye on Aiden, knowing full well that even in his absence, his son was anything but ordinary.

I am surrounded by 4 year old kids. There is no way any of them is as sharp as Aiden.

In the dim, desolate confines of an abandoned subway, a man stumbled, his grasp unsteady on a half-empty bottle of alcohol. His once-groomed appearance now betrayed by overgrown stubble and disheveled hair, his bloodshot eyes bore the weight of endless tears.

As he faltered, a jagged stone sliced across his forehead, drawing a trickle of blood. Yet, the physical pain paled in comparison to the anguish gripping his heart.

Slumping against the cold, graffiti-stained walls, he gazed vacantly at the oppressive sky, tears silently tracing down his cheeks. With a heavy heart, he shut his eyes, only for fresh waves of despair to wrench anguished sobs from his chest. In a fit of anguish, he hurled the bottle, shattering it against the unforgiving concrete, mirroring the shattered pieces of his soul.

A piercing scream shattered the silence, jolting him from his desolation. Instinctively, he stumbled toward the source, his vision blurred by the enveloping darkness. Guided by the cries, he pressed forward, his steps faltering but resolute.

Each scream pierced the air like a dagger, leading him to a decrepit shed at the end of the subway. With a door already splintered, he entered, his gaze sweeping over the rusty remnants of forgotten machinery and discarded debris.

A sickening squelch beneath his shoe drew his attention downward, revealing a pool of crimson staining the ground. His breath hitched, dread coursing through his veins as he followed the macabre trail, his heart pounding in his ears.

And then, he beheld the horror before him, a scene so grotesque it froze him in terror.

He retreated back with eyes full of fear before asking, "Wh... wh... what are you doing?".

"Please… help me."
