“Ha. Sure, water please, bud.” I answer, beaming a smile over to him.

“Same.” Sean replies.

No sooner does Ed open the fridge, Isamu and Harm return from the lab.

“We’re back. Sorry about that.” Isamu takes off his glasses and  rubs his eyes.

“You look like you need a drink more than we do.” Ed comments, as he throws us our bottles of water.

“Please. An espresso. I’m going to be up for a while.”

“Haha… my bad.”

“Everything alright?” Sean asks, opening his water.

“Yes. I’ll tell you in a little bit. Where are Adam and Isabelle?

I feel I should probably answer this one myself.

“They were playing the “Apology Olympics” earlier, so I half-suggested they just go watch a movie.”

Isamu surprisingly nods with a smile on his face. I guess he approves. “He spends way too much time indoors. This is good.”

Harmony, however, rubs her chin, thinking for a moment before saying…

“I’m… honestly surprised she agreed to this. In the years I’ve known her, I’ve never seen her go out anywhere other than with Sara, Sue and myself…”

That’s a joke… right? Surely? Isabelle is beautiful. How has she not been dating?

Harm continues. “It’s a good sign though.”

Harm just has the warmest smile on her face right now. She seems content with what’s happened. I… have a feeling there's a LOT more to this, but well, we all have our secrets. I imagine everyone in this room does.

“Might be a good time for me to head back actually.”

“Are you sure?” Sean asks.

“Yeah. We’ll be talking a lot more going forward anyway. You won’t be getting rid of me any time soon.” Harm chuckles to herself, “I'll let Sara know what’s going on, I’m heading back to hers first before I head home.”

“Ah, gotcha. See you soon then, Harm.”

Isamu walks towards the door.

“I’ll show you out.”

“Thanks, Isamu. See you guys later.”

We all say goodbye to Harmony as she and Isamu leave the living room.
