In the midst of the chaos, Rurima told the Pistols to come back over to her so that they saved as much energy as possible. When they got to her, they asked why she was here. Rurima explained that with the death of Lucas and her name finally cleared, that she was promoted to House Advisor. With everything going on, she didn't have the time to tell them before now. They were just glad that she was free from hiding and was there with them at this time. Godfrey asked what the plan was now and Rurima explained that the houses would hold them off as long as they could and put the Pistols on standby. That is until Zollic got off his throne and made a move. They had no choice but to sit back and watch as the fighting raged on.
Abilities were flying everywhere. Zollic was smiling and laughing at seeing all the blood shed. He wanted to get out there but he knew that he'd want their numbers to dwindle down a little bit more first. Plus these were just the grunts of the houses, he knew. He was waiting for the big boys to come out to play. Sotto's father walked up to the Pistols and Sotto immediately turned around knowing her father's aura. She asked what he was doing here. The general stood there with his legendary Sledgehammer in his hands. This Sledgehammer was used in all the wars since the Great Pistol Wars began and was passed down through the generations. Its power was strong enough to destroy the Dark Spirit.
The general told his daughter that he was going to meet Zollic face-to-face and destroy him. Sotto told him he was too old and that he should let the Seven Pistols handle him. The general yelled at her and told her not to disrespect his name as the general and commander of this fight. Sotto hushed her mouth as a tear fell down her face. The general walked up to her, wiped her tears away, and told her that she reminded him of her mother and that he was so proud of the woman she has grown to be. He told her it was his time to go and fight a warriors battle and if that meant he would be killed so be it. Maybe he could even see his wife again. With that, he took to the battlefield. Sotto tried to go after him but was stopped by Rurima. She told Sotto that this was something he had to do and going in after him would only hold him back. Sotto just stood there knowing that Rurima was right. The other Pistols stood by Sotto's side, showing her that they were all there with her.
The general started to run towards Zollic. Anyone who got in his way was met with the swing of his Sledgehammer and had their heads knocked off or even had their bodies split in two. As he made his way to Zollic, he told Zollic to meet him on the battlefield, commander-to-commander. Zollic got off his throne and went up to the general. They stared each other down for a second before Zollic said that he was almost sorry that he had to kill the general but that it was for the best. Death makes anyone fight better and anger is the most beautiful driving factor, even more so in families. The general heard that and without hesitation swung his Sledgehammer at Zollic. At first glance, it looked like the Sledgehammer made contact with Zollic. However, Zollic had quickly moved out of the way, holding his head before saying, "Were you trying to kill me with that swing or were you trying to give me a haircut? I couldn't tell."
This pissed the general off even more and he dashed at Zollic, swinging his Sledgehammer rapidly and viciously. Zollic dodged every swing, effortlessly.
Zollic spoke again, "Hmm, that was a bit better at convincing me that you want to kill me. But you gotta get serious if you want my head, General."
The general took off his coat saying that he didn't need it anymore. His body outline started to glow green, pulsing out of the general. His ability, known as Power Core, grants the user a short period where their strength is increased two times. His Sledgehammer started glowing red as a flame, covering the whole thing. The general dashed at Zollic again. This time he was more vicious and his Sledgehammer smacked Zollic in the stomach. Or so he thought. Zollic's shadow strings stopped his Sledgehammer. Before Zollic could get any witty remarks out, the general was already going around and making his next strikes. He striked Zollic from all sides over and over again.
Zollic's shadow strings couldn't keep up at first and the general landed small blows that were blocked afterwards to keep Zollic from taking serious damage. He only sustained a few minor cuts. This barrage of attacks was starting to piss off Zollic and took out his pistol, shooting at the general. But the general dodged the shots. Then, Zollic started shooting this pistol in all directions. To the general, it looked like Zollic had lost his mind but this was all going according to plan. To Zollic, the reason for this was Zollic's pistol ability. It created small portals that could send small or large objects through.
Zollic's shadow strings started going through the portals, undetected by the general. The more the general fought, the more he didn't see what was happening to him. By the time he realized what was happening, it was too late. Zollic was wide open for an attack and the general took the opportunity to land the final strike but was stopped in his tracks. All of Zollic's shadow strings were stabbed into the general's body from behind and the general couldn't move an inch.
The general spoke, "Bastard! How'd you find a way to get me like this?"
There was blood falling out the general's nose and mouth. Zollic had a huge smile on his face and spoke again, "You really thought I'd give up a perfect opportunity for you to attack me without having a plan? I respect you, general, but not enough to let you live."
Just before any actions could be made, the general mustered up enough strength to break away from the shadow strings. He threw his Sledgehammer towards Sotto and told her that she was the general now and that daddy was going to see mommy now. Just then, Zollic sliced off the general's head. The general's body stood there for a few seconds before falling to the ground. Tears began to fall out of Sotto's eyes and she let out a huge scream. She got so mad that not even Rurima could hold her back. She dashed as fast as she could at Zollic. The rage in her body was intense and the other Pistols went after her, knowing how she felt. Rurima knew that there was nothing she could do but watch and see what would happen. Zollic had a huge smile on his face, welcoming Sotto and the others to him.
