CHAPTER ONE



Nathaniel looked at Patrick with the same longing eyes he had been looking at him with since they were in the ninth grade.

Patrick continued talking about the last football match he had seen last night but Nathaniel wasn’t interested in that. 

He scanned Patrick’s lips and couldn’t help but notice how soft they looked and he he licked them between sentences.

“Time for lunch!” His thoughts were interrupted by finn. 

He sighed and then made his way alongside Patrick to the dinning hall.

Behind them, was Lui. A tall slender boy with an unknown purpose.

He couldn’t help but notice how much Nathaniel had changed over the summer. 

“He had a mustache now and he’s almost as tall as I was in tenth grade. Fuck…” thought Lui .He couldn’t stop thinking about Nathaniel.

Nathaniel got his lunch and sat at the usual table and Carl joined him. Carl was a minor part of Nathaniel's life as far as he was concerned. He never felt a real connection between them both but only spoke to him for Patrick’s sake.

Patrick sat and Nathaniel's stomach fluttered and he forgot how to swallow. He stared at Patrick struggling with his cutlery and then with his seat. 

Nathaniel laughed under his breath then began to eat.

 

“Guy Patrick. After lunch” the whole table went silent as Lui spoke. Patrick responded with a simple nod then continued with his lunch.

They always did this and nobody was often bothered by it. 

After school, Lui walked Nathaniel home. Nathaniel started a conversation about basketball while they walked, when he noticed a hand below his waist.

It sent shivers down his spine before he realized whose hand it was.

“Lui….”
