CHAPTER SIX 

“We have a biology class”

Patrick opens the door to the bathroom stall and checks if anyone is around before stepping out.

“I come out first then you follow a few minutes later” Patrick tells Lui.

Lui nods hesitantly then watches Patrick exit the bathroom. Lui throws himself against the wall then groans.

Patrick enters the classroom and is Noticed by Nathaniel . The teacher, Mr. Simon looks at him with a blank stare.

“I’m sorry I’m late” Patrick says taking his seat next to Nathaniel.

“Let’s continue” Mr Simon says

Patrick gets out his notebook from his backpack then notices Carl grab Nathaniel's thigh.

“Hey, can we talk” Patrick whispers with a slight tone of disgust.

“There’s literally nothing to talk about” Nathaniel whispers back coldly. 

“Yes there is and you know it. Why are you avoiding me? And-“ Patrick was cut off 

“He said, there was nothing to talk about leave him alone” Carl says.

“This is none of your business . Piss off” Patrick replies 

“But he isn’t wrong” Nathaniel says.

Patrick feels crushed and he isn’t sure why. He pushes against his desk then gets up to leave the classroom. 

“Patrick! Get back into the class” Mr Simon yells. 

Patrick scuffs then leaves the class

“Patrick close the door!” Henrietta shouts

Patrick screams along the hallway and digs his head into his palms.

He sits on the floor and stays there. He doesn’t cry, he just sits and whimpers. 

“Bro what happened?” 

Patrick looks up to see Lui who had just come out of the bathroom.

Patrick gets up then wraps his hands around Lui's neck.
