“Happy 13th birthday!!” Evie said to herself. She still wished that her family, or even just her mother, was still alive. Then, she heard a loud knock on her oak wood door. KNOCK, KNOCK KNOCK!!!! Evie rushed to the door to see who it was. Standing at the door was her best friend, Amara “oh hey Amara! Come in!” said Evie excitedly. She was hoping that maybe they could play a game but before she could ask, Amara butted in, “Evie, the queens from the castle that appeared years ago are here. They told me that they were looking for you... Evie?... Evie?... Evie, can you even hear me?” Evie could hear her; she just didn't have time to answer her, as she rushed out of the door to find the queens. She ran around the grassy area for about an hour asking everyone that she saw if they knew where the queens were. She was about to give up when she saw them asking Amara's father if they knew where Evie was.
