Well, here's the reason why the Ucab'mti from the previous page was so in awe of the cheetah. Yeah, sure, it was missing the hexapod body plan, big ears, and longer snout, but it was so similar to that Ucab'mti themself that they couldn't help but compare it to the giant deities in their mythology , as told by the elder in the beginning here. Sometimes, myths and legends start from a grain of truth that goes through a game of telephone, or are just straight up misinterpreted from the get-go.
This descendent of the lost civilization goes on to become the leading expert on this Ucab'mti history, lost civilizations, and extinct Iwnoqlewh subspecies. The Lost Giants are only the first to be discovered.
