Olivia stood up and grabbed a cup of coffee from the coffee machine near the bed so her brain could cope with facing Juliet. She took off her glasses to rub her eyes as she felt sleepy. She hadn’t slept at all last night.
While focusing on sipping her coffee, still with her back to Juliet, Olivia asked, “Do you know that your condition has been deteriorating lately?”
“I know.”
“If you know, why do you keep wandering aimlessly?”
“Because I have to! But...”
Juliet said it with a suppressed tone.
As if remembering something, Juliet stopped talking to Olivia.
From the surface, the blanket covering Juliet’s body seemed restless here and there, a sign that Juliet’s hands, still covered by the blanket, were groping around the bed. Juliet was searching for something. Not finding what she was looking for, she frowned.
Juliet lifted the upper part of her body. She looked around in confusion, and then she just sat on the bed for a moment, staring blankly at her own body.
As the blanket that enveloped her body fell down, she noticed that the robe and clothes she had previously worn were gone.
Suddenly, a dreadful energy emanated from Juliet’s body, spreading to Olivia.
Crash!
Due to Juliet’s sudden Mana release process, Olivia was startled and automatically dropped the coffee cup from her hand. The cup fell and scattered on the floor. She quickly put her glasses back on and turned to look at Juliet.
Olivia was confused to see Juliet patting her own body as if searching for something while looking angry.
“Where are the robe or clothes that I was wearing earlier?” Juliet asked as if ready to devour Olivia.
Under the pressure from Juliet, Olivia found it difficult to swallow the remaining coffee she had sipped.
‘Is she angry because I undressed her when she fainted?’
Olivia’s thoughts were unclear. Olivia seemed curious as to why Juliet suddenly overreacted. In her confusion, Olivia managed to answer Juliet’s question despite her trembling eyes.
“B-because your body was wet before, I took off your robe and clothes. I put them in the basket.”
After Olivia pointed to the basket in the corner of the room, Juliet immediately got off the luxurious bed. In the process, the blanket that previously wrapped Juliet’s body fell to the floor, removing Juliet’s last visual defense.
Juliet briefly saw Olivia’s increasingly intense eye tremors. Still, she ignored it and hurried to the basket where her robe and clothes were. Taking her robe, Juliet seemed to be looking for something as she rummaged through all the pockets embroidered on her robe.
“I haven’t had a chance to wash and dry your robe and clothes, so you should be able to find what you’re looking for if it’s there.”
Hearing Olivia’s words, Juliet became slightly calmer.
Not long after, Juliet found what she was looking for.
With narrowed eyes, Olivia managed to see what Juliet was looking for.
“A photo? Is that what she’s looking for? Is that why she went wandering last night?”
Olivia saw Juliet holding a small photo, which seemed to be what Juliet was looking for. The photo was slightly wet, but there was no significant damage. The picture displayed in the photo was still clear.
Two people. A man and a woman in their mid-twenties. They were facing the camera as if they were a couple.
The most striking thing was their combat armor and long spears. They looked like medieval soldiers.
Since the photo’s original color was not very clear, it could be assumed that the photo was taken a long time ago. Strangely, Juliet held the photo with great emotion. Her hands trembled, and even tears fell and dropped to the floor, but only one drop of tears fell. Before eventually, anger seemed to peak on Juliet’s face.
This was the first time Olivia had seen Juliet so emotional. She wanted to ask who they were in the photo, but she remained silent as if she were a friend who could read the atmosphere.
After gazing at the photo for a while, Juliet regulated her previously overflowing emotions. This also included removing the Mana release that had been constantly hovering in the air.
She sighed and felt uncomfortable somewhere. Her head bowed down, and she observed her entire body. That was when she realized that she was only wearing underwear.
Due to the relaxed emotional glands, she felt the cold air from the room more strongly. Juliet felt slightly cold even though there was a heater installed. The feeling of exposed or open skin to the outside air was very uncomfortable for her.
‘... Like a defenseless person?!’ Juliet thought.
However, there was another cause that made Juliet feel uncomfortable. Her back seemed to be hit by a laser beam. She felt a sharp gaze from behind. When she turned, it turned out to be Olivia’s eyes.
At first, Juliet thought Olivia’s eyes were trembling with fear. But it seemed Olivia’s eyes were trembling for another reason.
Juliet’s eyes alternated between looking at her own naked body and Olivia’s eyes.
Suddenly realizing that Olivia’s eyes were trembling because of her naked body, Juliet’s hair stood on end.
The sight of Juliet wearing only underwear was bound to make anyone’s nose bleed. Even if Olivia were a woman, she couldn’t help but be amazed and swallow saliva when seeing Juliet’s smooth and white skin.
Olivia behaved normally, but occasionally, it was clear that Olivia’s eyes were exploring her body.
“Tch! I’m very envious of your curved S body. But unfortunately...”
“That’s enough!”
Juliet stopped Olivia’s words as if she knew what Olivia wanted to say about her body.
As if giving up, Olivia could only sit back in the chair next to the bed while stroking her very soft hair on her head.
Juliet quickly grabbed a set of daily clothes in the form of a t-shirt and jeans from the large wardrobe also available in the room. Indeed, the place where she was being treated was not at all reflective of a room that should be in a hospital but rather resembled her private bedroom.
When Juliet had just put her hand into one of the sleeves, Olivia hurriedly asked as if she was not willing to have the beautiful scenery in front of her eyes covered by sheets.
“Are you going to leave right away?”
“Yes.”
“Wait a minute. There are still a few things I want to talk about.”
“What?”
“You know that you didn’t faint because of your external physical injuries, right?”
