The Nameless Manor

Chapter 3 (yeah I know this is out of place, but so is life.)

Chapter 3 (yeah I know this is out of place, but so is life.)

Apr 20, 2024

Chapter A day in Random's life before the manor.

The sound of running water from a shower could be heard alongside happy cheerful whistling. Inside the shower was young adult male with silver platinum hair wavy hair. This is Randall B. Styles, he will be the main character in this story.

Randall had taken his shower and was getting dressed into his daily wear, one white dress pants (clean undies first...duh), a pair of white comfy warm socks, one pair of white dress shoes with silver snowflake like markings, he put on a white dress shirt with frills at the sleeve, he pot on white vest that had 4 pockets and then his white Blazer with 6 buttons.

The buttons were like the color of a rainbow and on the buttons each one had small Die’s (learn that dice is the plural word for die... who knew.) which seem to change numbers every now and then. Finally, to finish getting dressed Randall grabbed a white Fedora hat with a silver strap that had a pure white feather sticking out the strap. Standing at proudly at 5.10 (for now) Randall is a well-dressed man ready to start his day.

“Ok dressed for the day, now for breakfast.”Randall said to himself as he went to his kitchen, he looked in his cabinets and saw his favorite cereal was missing. So, he grabbed his house keys, his wallet and an apple for the road and exited his house. Randall had to close his eyes as the bright light from the supermarket was blinding his face. He grabbed a shopping kart and started to grab what he wanted and needed. Oh, you guys are new to him... Randall has a lot of abilities, let's go over the important ones while he shops. [*1]

Number 1. Randall can semi teleport anywhere. This is his door teleportation ability it is passive, and he can’t turn it off. This Power works by Fate and Desire. He desired to go to the store and buy some stuff, BUT at the same time if Fate had stepped in Randall right now could be somewhere else, Like at airport. This power only works by stepping through doors be it house doors, car doors, sliding atomic doors if it works like a door, it will and can teleport him. Fact it doesn’t always teleport him but most of the time it does. [*2]

Randall is seen putting a few cases of milk gallons on the bottom of the shopping cart. He had already grabbed some fruits, veggies and some fishes before he had reached the dair section.

Number 2. He has a bit of super strength. The heaviest thing he has lifted was 2 tanks and that was under pressure. [*3] Randall grabs a few bags of bread, cereal, pasta, a few cans of beans and tomato sauces.

Number 3 this is the big one. Randall has access to all superpowers to exist or even be thought of, but he has a limit. Let's say Randall has super speed for 15 minutes Randall can run as much as he wants, but once the 15 minutes are over, he will lose that super speed and his next power could be Fire manipulation or flight heck he can even get powers that shapeshift his body. That said once the time is up, he will get a new power he won’t know what is and nor is he a master of all powers, just because he has the power doesn’t mean he a master of that power. Also, there are many versions of one power he could get the strongest version of that power or the weakest. [*4] That said he has a secret way to get out of this control which will be seen in later chapters.

Number 4 Randall is a multiverse/parallel world and even sometimes Time hopper walker. This means at times he finds different points in time be it the past or future, he can be in parallel world where everything is the same expect he lost wallet. And as a multiverse walker he finds himself in worlds that have superpowered people, magic, robots, aliens you name it but to him they are just places and time. His main job his being a delivery guy. [*5] for him it is fun to go to new places and his job just happens to help him.

Randall was in a line waiting for the other shoppers to get their items scanned as he had to shopping cart filled to the brim with what he needed and what he wanted. “Hmmm I wonder what tasks I must do today?”Randall asked himself as he pulled out his phone and started to check his messages.

Number 5. now this isn’t a power. Randall gets his mission from his brother Shade B. Styles (hey that's me the damn narrator). Be it delivering packages, groceries, weapons, he even works like an uber/taxi, when Shade sends him a job Randall tries to get done no matter what. What can I say bro is the best I got in this business. [*6]

-Hey bro, listen I need you to deliver a package I just left at your place to a mansion in a forest, it’s for this guy I met, he did me a favor so I’m repaying said favor with something he needs, you’ll find that $17,500 was added to your account. The address is linked below.-

“Oh ok, it was getting quiet these pasts few days.”Randall says as started to unload his stuff onto the grocery conveyor belt. A few people behind Randall left to go to another considering how loaded his carts were. About 41 minutes later. Randall had paid for all his items and was able to get back home thanks to his door teleportation power and had put everything away.

Randall found Shade’s package on his coffee table and he knew it was going to be a weird delivery. “Let’s see the package is marked with cryptic symbols and emits a faint, otherworldly glow, yeahhh, This is going to be either easy or hard if the owner tries to take my soul... *sighs* I better grab my biker helmet.”Randall said to himself as he went to the kitchen, grab three different flavored pop-tarts, an apple and his water bottle. Randall grabs his helmet from his coat rack and goes to his garage as he puts on his helmet it has Symbol on the front and an Emblem on the back.

Symbol: The symbol is a stylized representation of a door, signifying Randall's ability to traverse different dimensions and times. The door is depicted with clean lines and geometric shapes, resembling both a traditional wooden door and a futuristic portal. Intricate designs reminiscent of clockwork and gears adorn the surface of the door, symbolizing the mechanisms of time and space that Randall manipulates.

Radiating from the center of the door are stylized rays of light, representing the vast array of possibilities and realms that Randall explores. The light emanates outward, casting a warm and inviting glow that beckons adventurers to step through the doorway into the unknown.

Surrounding the door are abstract patterns and motifs inspired by ancient symbols of knowledge and mysticism. These intricate details add depth and texture to the design, hinting at the secrets and mysteries that lie beyond the threshold.

Emblem: Randall’s Emblem is basically the same expect, Randall's emblem features a circular frame, within which is an abstract depiction his Symbol with a Title At the bottom of the emblem. Dimension Drifter.

Randall grabs the key to his Triumph Bonneville T120 from his blazer and takes a minute to look over the bike before getting on and taking off. As Randall navigates through the bustling city streets, the urban landscape pulses with energy and activity. Pedestrians weave between cars, and the sounds of honking horns and bustling chatter fill the air. Randall's motorcycle cuts through the crowded streets with ease, its engine rumbling beneath him as he maneuvers through the urban maze.

The cityscape is a vibrant tapestry of sights and sounds, with towering skyscrapers casting long shadows over bustling sidewalks. Neon signs flicker and flash, advertising everything from flashy nightclubs to quaint cafes tucked away in quiet corners.

Despite the frenetic pace of the city, Randall remains focused on his mission, weaving through traffic with the skill of a seasoned rider. He's accustomed to the urban hustle and bustle, his senses alert to the ever-changing flow of cars and pedestrians.

As Randall waits at a red light amidst the urban hustle and bustle, he notices a young child standing on the sidewalk nearby. The child's curious gaze meets Randall's. Sensing an opportunity to brighten someone's day, Randall decides to engage with the child.

With a warm smile, Randall waves to the child and gestures for them to come closer. The child hesitates for a moment, then cautiously approaches, their eyes wide with wonder and excitement.

Randall reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small trinket—a shiny silver coin with intricate designs of a 20 side die etched into its surface. He offers it to the child with a gentle nod, inviting them to take it.

The child's face lights up with delight as they accept the gift, their fingers tracing the intricate patterns on the coin's surface. With a shy smile the boy pockets the coin. “T-thanks mister.”The boy said as he runs off. Randall nods in return, his own smile widening at the child's happiness. As the light turns green and traffic begins to move he pops a wheelie and takes off happily.

As Randall leaves the city behind and speeds along the empty road leading to the forest, a sense of exhilaration fills him. With the open road stretching out before him and the wind rushing past, he feels alive with the thrill of adventure. “Man this is the life... hmm I see no cops.”Randall says before his face has a fun devilish grin.

With a flick of his wrist, Randall accelerates, his motorcycle roaring to life as he pushes it to its limits. The speedometer climbs higher and higher, matching the rapid beat of his heart as he embraces the freedom of the open road.

Feeling the rush of adrenaline coursing through his veins, Randall decides to show off his skills, performing a series of daring tricks with effortless precision. He stands up on the pegs of his motorcycle, balancing expertly as he rides with fearless grace. The wind tousles the few strand hair that escaped his helmet.

With a mischievous grin and quick timing Randall plops down from standing on the bike and grabs the handles as he performs a wheelie, lifting the front wheel off the ground as he maintains perfect control. The roar of the engine echoes through the empty landscape, punctuated by the cheers of unseen spectators in Randall's mind. ~and there goes Randall performing a quick move from a perfect stand to a wheelie can this man be stopped?~Randall thought as he makes up the announcer in his mind.

Emboldened by the rush of adrenaline, Randall decides to push the limits even further. With a confident smirk, he releases his grip on the handlebars, relying solely on his balance and skill to guide him. The sensation of freedom is electrifying as he slows down to a cruise on the open road, a lone figure against the backdrop of the vast expanse of wilderness stretching out before him. He checked his phone and noticed he was nearing the road he needed to enter.

As Randall arrives at the entrance to the forest, he slows his motorcycle to a stop, taking in the sight before him. There was am old metal fence, weathered and rusted with age, stretching across the entrance like a sentinel guarding the secrets of the wilderness beyond.

The once-sturdy barrier now sags with the weight of time, its iron bars twisted and warped by years of exposure to the elements. Vines and moss cling to its surface, weaving a tapestry of greenery that obscures its decrepit state.

Undeterred by the dilapidated appearance of the fence, Randall dismounts from his motorcycle and approaches it with a sense of determination. He reaches out and grasps one of the rusted bars, feeling the rough texture beneath his fingertips. “Well this fence is old as shit, I have a package with who knows what inside... *laughs* fuck me I just might die from how cliche this situation sounds like.”Randall says to himself

With a firm tug, Randall tests the integrity of the fence, finding it surprisingly sturdy despite its weathered appearance. With a confident smile he parks his motorcycle and ties it with a chain to a tree as he kicks down the fenced road and starts his journey into the woods.

This is the story of a home. Though not just any home. A place where nothing is ever as it seems. Even for those who take up residency there, there is no ordinary. Only extraordinary. You've just got to find it. Or perhaps maybe, just maybe, it could be the extraordinary that might just find you. I invite you to this home, a manor, The Nameless Manor. Where beings of all races, nationalities, realms, and entirely different worlds and dimension across all of space and time come together living side by side. All with their own story. A cyborg overlord, a viking wolf demihuman, dragons, and even this one odd skater boy are all but just the few among the many who call this manor home... What about me, you ask? Oh my dear reader, I cannot tell you that. At least not right away. If you really are that interested though, then maybe you might should see about turning a page or two. You'll find out all in due time. You'll find out a lot of things if you decide to pick up this book and continue on. But will you? Well, we'll just have to see... Now then won't we?
