"Rurika I know your feelings, but please act like you don't hate the direct request from our powerful companion." the bright smile of Zanoah made Rurika roll her eyes, Issac tried to comfort Rurika's feelings, but he got punched by her.

"What's the mission." Mio tired of their farce, cut the crabs off them.

"That's the reason why I like you so much Mio! Learn from the best, everyone." Zanoah's smile became brighter than before, Mio was sick of his stupid action, she didn't make any response to Zanoah's flirt, and he looked totally used to Mio's cold shoulder, Zanoah turned to face Elio, "We need to send two groups of agent to protect our primary target. Unfortunately, our picky clients didn't tell us a reason, but they requested us to hide our identities."

"Time, position, and the length of this mission," Mio demanded.

Elio looks at her curiously, besides mentees, agents seem very familiar with this type of secret mission.

"Don't worry, I've already made a new ID for everyone. Mio, Hung, and Sally would be assigned to the bodyguard group, You all have to stay close with Mrs.Goldberg. And the rest, Elio, Rurika, and Issac will become the maid and deacons of the house of Goldberg." Zanoah sent the details to them, and continued," Before Nuée assigns the next mission, don't come back."

"Sound boring," Yung said out loud, even though he hid his face, but he forgot to lower his voice. Rurika mimicked him, covered her face, and said, "It's super boring, you're right."

"Ahahah-----Yung, right? I can hear you."

"How could be!"

The careless action of Yung makes everyone laugh, but he can't figure out why they laughing. Rurika gave him an approving punch on the shoulder, "Ouch!" Yung still didn't know why his mentor punched him.

"I thought we have to follow our mentor on every mission, but I was assigned with Agent Valentino and Agent Bell," Elio asked Zanoah directly, most of the mentees wouldn't ask any questions, they just followed the lead of their supervisor, but Elio always think a lot. He wanted to know is his problem or just the regulation of Nuée。

"You're right, In most situations, we would like you all to work as a pair, but this time Evelyn suggested we should break the pairs, and based on your abilities and personalities, Elio, you're more of an observer, while Yung has a stronger physical. I think this grouping is more suitable for this mission."Zanoah answered Elio's question kindly, and he noticed Sally, the mentee of Issac was also curious about the same thing, but Yung always lacked enthusiasm. From what he saw, Zanoah thought Evelyn did a wonderful grouping.

"Besides following your mentors, coordination is an important part of the process. Just learn from everything, it won't harm you, Elio."Zanoah looked at Rurika, but Rurika shot him a middle finger, he didn't care and he smiled bigger.

"I'm sorry my comprehension didn't get your intent right off the bat, I'll try my best!" Elio is motivated by Zanoah's words.  

"Oh, I almost forgot, Mio and Elio, our balt old man asked you two to his office. Hope he won't treat you hard." Zanoah squeezed Elio's shoulder lightly, from his gloating smile, Elio felt complicated.

Mio left them all before Elio noticed, Elio kept calling her name until they arrived at the office of the commander-in-chief.

"Excuse me."

"Come in."Walter's voice came from the office.

Elio stands straight beside Mio since his eyes are on Walter, and then he sees a young man standing next to Walter.

"This is the president of Beehive Corporation Seth Bale, he stops over to pick up the things which he requested us to find from his company. He wants to say thank our great work, Agent Elio." Walter's eyes locked on Elio, it made him chill for a second, but Elio didn't dare to move a bit.

Elio checks on Mio's facial expression, as a new member of Nuée and a person who still under the training project, Elio can't figure out what's the purpose of Walter if their client wants to show his grateful to the organization, Nuée should find a proper representative to socialize with them. Maybe Mio succumbed to her conscience, she stepped ahead and offered her hand to Mr.Bale.

"Thank you for your appreciation, and please excuse my intrusion. As Elio's Mentor, He did an outstanding job. I'm so glad that you gave such a high applause to him. Elio, you should respond to our client." Mio leads Elio to stand beside her, she takes charge of this brief meeting that Walter arranged.

Elio shook hands with Bale properly, Mio turned to Bale and said, "We still have work to do, forgive us for leaving, and allow me to thank you for your appreciation again."Mio responded politely to Bale, then she faced Elio, "We should go now."

"Yes, Ms.Adrian!" Elio replied in a rush, he bowed to Walter and Bale before leaving the office.

When he chased behind Mio, his mind was busy finding a topic between them, Elio wanted to know why Mio would help him. He sensed Walter was counting on something, however, Elio couldn't understand why Walter would ignore Mio and decided to introduce an agent who hadn't followed Evelyn's instruction.

"Ms.Adrian thank you very much..." Elio said weakly, afraid Mio won't answer him.

"Not a big deal, be aware of that bald grandpa, once he finds out you have commercial value, you will be swallowed by his precious clients." 

Mio snorted derision, Elio shivered for a bit, "What??"

"Forget about what you saw. We have more important things to do." Mio checked on her tablet, and Evelyn's message kept popping up, Mio turned the voice message into text. Elio saw there was a new message from Evelyn too, and he clicked it without hesitation, Mio suddenly pushed the mute button on his tablet, "I don't want to hear the voice from that thing."

"O...Okay? I'm really sorry."

"Stop apologizing to me." Mio squeezed Elio's face, the touch was softer than it looked. Elio's expression looks like he is stuck in a different dimension, the sudden action of his mentor made him feel more confused than Walter's attitude.

Maybe the weird vibe blew his brain off, but Elio dared to ask the question that hid in his belly for a while, "Why don't you give me a bonding mark?"

"....Why would I do that? I don't care if you do the mission with me or not." Mio took her hand back in a second, and back to her blank face.

"But Commander Miller said you have to bring me to the mission, and I swear that I won't do things by my own will anymore...Please, allow me to be your mentee." Elio almost begged Mio, if the term mentee should fully obey their mentor, right now, Elio would definitely follow it.

"Then you can ask Commander Miller to give you a bonding mark of mine. You are clever, you knew the bonding mark is for a mentor to search for their mentee's position. You can tell everybody that you are my number one mentee, but I don't care." Mio's words blocked Elio from stepping closer to her, The rejection of her is clear like a crystal.

"It wasn't the same! And you know it wasn't just a mark! I don't care if your privilege is to treat people like they don't desert to share the place with you. Ms.Adrian, you are the most talented agent, and you are also the worst human, stop blaming those people who care about you."Elio can't hold his anger anymore, no matter what he did, and how many times he said sorry to Mio Adrian, but it is always not enough. 

Mio Adrian always seeks herself as the most miserable person in the world.

Elio forced himself to make eye contact with Mio, "If you are afraid of having any connection with people, I'll look for a chance to talk with Commander Walter to see if is there any chance I can work under another agent."

This is the first time Elio left before asking his mentor, or maybe it would be the last time that he worked with Mio Adrian.
