The story of celestia takes place  on a world similar to earth but somewhere far. To be precise, this world is present in Andromeda galaxy.

The malachite shaders are creatures of the dark that feed on souls by corrupting them. Their origins unknown.. 

People in this world were living normally until one day the malachite shaders invaded. People began to act like madmen once their souls were corrupted by the shaders. 

The rulers of the 7 continents came together to protect the remaining people in the largest continent called pandora.

During their fight, A dragon presented himself in front of them offering to help. Impressed by the willpower of the humans, the dragon divided its own soul into 7 souls

The first four souls were divided with the mix of magic of this world and the dragon itself. The Soul of the Air dragon, The soul of the water dragon, The soul of the earth dragon, The soul of the fire dragon. The next three souls from his own soul, the soul of reality dragon, the soul of the dragon of strength and the last but most powerful of them all, the celestial soul.

The celestial soul in itself was 2 souls combined, the celestial soul and the dark soul.

When these souls gets combined it can give rise to new powers but not souls.for eg: the magic of illusion is formed from combination of reality and earth souls, magic of teleportation, a combination of all four elemental souls, magic of healers from celestial soul and earth soul. 

People have an essence of these magic in them, they just have to concentrate on the one they are good at. Only the ones that wield the soul are the  ones worthy enough to use the most powerful and damage inducing spells. 

The 7 souls were given to the 7 rulers of 7 continents.

The ruler of pandora was the most kind and fierce leader in the eyes of the dragon and hence gave him the most powerful Celestial soul.

The 7 rulers fought the malachite shaders, but failed to eradicate them. With consideration to the new magical  powers introduced,the rulers changed their country name, giving rise to the start of the new era of magic. Pandora was then changed to Celestia in honour of the celestial soul. The 7 nations are

Eldora

Valerink

Avaloria

Everlair

Frosteil

But due to reasons unknown the Valerink nation turned against the other nation who was defeated by the other kings upon which, the corrupted soul of fire dragon is said to be taken by the Malachites.

The Human souls do have a limit. Under extreme distress the souls will go corrupted.

The ones who wield the soul, if goes corrupted can unleash chaos upon the world with their powers being out of the control of their mind.

Once the dragon soul gets corrupted it will be absorbed by the Malachites making them one step closer to their goal to dominate the universe.

The soul thus only manifests itself upon the humans who are worthy enough to possess it.
