Arun sat alone at the small wooden table, the soft glow of candlelight casting flickering shadows across the worn surface. He savored each bite of his dinner, the flavors mingling on his tongue as he lost himself in the flavors. His senses were attuned to the slightest sound or movement in the room. He knew that his peaceful solitude could be shattered at any moment, and he was prepared for whatever might come his way.
So when the door burst open with a loud crash sending splinters of wood flying through the air and Seth strode into the room, gun in hand, Arun met his gaze with a steady stare, his expression betraying no hint of surprise.
“Seth,” he said, his voice calm and measured despite the tension crackling in the air between them. He watched as Seth leveled the gun at him, the metal glinting ominously in the dim light, but he did not flinch. He put the spoon down on his plate. Then stood up slowly. Moving his arms slowly so that no one would think he was going for his gun on the table.
“I’m unarmed. I’ve heard about your reputation. I know you don’t shoot an unarmed person, right?” He licked his lips to get the last little bit of sauce off it.
Seth, the notorious enforcer from a rival gang, his reputation was ruthless as it was legendary.
Arun could see the conflict raging within Seth, the struggle between duty and desire warring within him. But he remained composed, his gaze unwavering as he waited for Seth to make his move.
“You finally located me, huh?” Arun said, his tone tinged with a hint of sarcasm, a mixture of defiance and resignation. He could feel the weight of Seth’s gaze boring into him, but he refused to let it unnerve him.
“You think you found me by accident?” Arun asked.
Seth’s chest heaved with adrenaline and emotion as he stood there, his grip tight on the gun. Arun could sense the tension radiating off him, but he remained resolute, his expression impassive.
Seth’s chest heaved with adrenaline and emotion as he stood there, the gun trembling slightly in his grasp. Arun could see the conflict raging behind his eyes, the struggle between duty and desire warring within him.
And then, to Arun’s surprise, a laugh bubbled up from deep within him, breaking the tense silence that hung between them. “Go ahead, Seth,” he said, his voice laced with bitter amusement. “Do it.”
Arun held out his arm and pulled Seth closer. Seth cocked the gun straight against his temple. The barrel was tight and cold against his skin.Arun’s mind raced with a thousand thoughts as Seth leveled a gun at him, the cold metal glinting ominously in the dim light. His muscles tensed with the instinctive urge to flee, but he forced himself to remain perfectly still, his gaze locked with Seth’s in a silent battle of wills.
He smirked. “Will you change? Will you become the bastard that shoots the unarmed, the innocent without even checking to see if you are wrong or right?”
Seth’s fingers betrayed a tiny little tremor, but otherwise, his arm and body were steady. His eyes, however, narrowed and widened like a cat in hyper-aware mode.
Seth’s chest heaved with adrenaline and emotion as he stood there, the gun trembling slightly in his grasp. Arun could see the conflict raging behind his eyes, the struggle between duty and desire warring within him.
Seth’s grip tightened on the gun, but instead of pulling the trigger, he did something unexpected. He uncocked the gun and tossed it aside, the clang of metal against wood echoing through the room.
Arun’s eyes narrowed slightly as Seth stood in front of him, hand on his hip. He turned and paced away from him. “Turning your back on me, has no one taught you never to let your guard down?”
Seth scoffed. “No, hasn’t anyone told you not to let your guard down?” He said as he crossed the room in quick strides, his movements purposeful and determined. And then, with a fierceness that took Arun’s breath away, Seth pressed his lips to Arun’s in a searing kiss, his every movement filled with a raw intensity that left Arun reeling.
Arun froze before responding with equal fervor, his hands tangling in Seth’s hair. For a moment, they remained locked in each other’s embrace; the world falling away around them as they surrendered to the heat of their passion. Arun moaned as Seth’s strong hands traveled across his body, pressing into his back, thrusting against his waist desperately, he ripped Seth’s shirt open. The buttons popped and scattered across the floor.
When Seth pulled back from the kiss, he was smiling.
“Where are your men? Surrounding the area while you distract me?” He asked. “I assume you know exactly what I like because of heavy research and you are the distraction,” Arun asked.
Seth chuckled.
Arun reached into his waistband, pulled out a small switchblade, and put it in between his lips, blade towards the outside.
Seth nodded. “Yes, I am the distraction.”
Arun gazed at him slowly, from his toes to the tip of his nose. He cocked his head sideways.
“I approve, color me distracted. So now what? Do you take me back to Daddy?” He asked.
Seth stepped closer and leaned forward. He placed his lips on Arun’s again, grabbing the knife, the corners of his mouth bleeding from the contact with the blade. He let it drop to the ground and Arun leaned forward and licked the blood from the corners of Seth’s lips.
“Now what?” He whispered. Licking Seth’s lips again.
“Now, I tell them to leave. That you will come with me willingly. And we finish that kiss and see where it leads.” Seth answered back, his soft voice tickling across his shoulder blades.
Seth moved back, walked towards one of the windows, pulled the curtain back, and gave a small hand gesture.
Arun walked up behind him, his footsteps almost nonexistent.
Before Seth could turn back around, Arun pressed himself against his backside.
“Hush, It’s my turn now.” He said into Seth’s ear.
