Christy is playing the piano when her father informs her that Allison's apartment elevator is broken. They, along with Dipo's parents, head over to help. At Allison's apartment, the adults are trying to fix the elevator. Christy and Dipo, eager to help, suggest climbing up the elevator shaft to measure its height. Their parents warn them against it, but they're too excited to listen.
