This comic was made in honor of my dear friend, Caleb Guenther, who sadly passed away earlier this month. He was one of my greatest, closest friends. Since grade school, we were always working on some big project or another. One of those projects was the website for my comic, Mr. Lovenstein. Caleb was a brilliant programmer from an early age and was able to build a website from scratch, in his free time, that served as the home for my comics to this day. Simply put, there wouldn't be Mr. Lovenstein without him.
The current iteration of my website is a technical marvel that normally would've taken a team of programmers, but he managed to pull off by himself. Caleb was also responsible for coding in the Mr. Lovenstein trademark Secret Panel.
We did a lot of amazing things together, but I'll miss our conversations the most. Caleb had a deep appreciation of the arts and I felt like I could go into depth on any topic that interested us. I feel extremely fortunate to have met him and done so much with him. He was my creative partner, a co-conspirator, a brother, and, above all else, my friend. Thanks for everything, Caleb. I'll miss you so much.
