Sorry this episode is a little janky and inconsistent. Here's some MSF! trivia for you: We've been making this comic for A WHILE and when it started, it was drawn with pen and then shaded with digital screentones. (We have a special paper issue of #1 with the original screentones in our store @ ScuttlebuttInk.com) We didn't start coloring it until halfway through the chapter and it took a while to find our footing style-wise.

Mike dreams a normal life. Unfortunately, his fate is far more magical than he could have imagined. He wakes up one morning to find a sun-colored spirit stuck to him like an annoying, sassy shadow. Mike finds himself part of an unlikely (and fabulous) superhero team, with an eccentric girlfriend who refuses to see his ‘secret identity’. Things get weirder, with evil cupcakes, mutated kittens and an evil force threatening to destroy the world’s balance (whatever that means.)
