POV:KAYDA

I went to the bathroom quickly to change out of the wet clothes.

 I changed into the black jeans and white crop top that was in the shopping bag. It took me by surprise that it was a perfect fit for me. I tidied up my hair and grabbed it into a ponytail.

I got out of the room to see ash talking over on his phone near the window, already in his new clothes, a white shirt and black pant.

We are matching

I liked it but I acted as if I didn’t notice it. I sat on the chair near the bed and started skimming through the magazine on the coffee table.

I stole a glance at him every now and then.

He was tall, lean yet muscular perfect for a wielder of water dragon.

 I have never seen him use his powers but I have heard that water dragon wielders using their powers are a sight to behold.

He turned and locked eyes with me as a smile grew on his thin lips.

“Sorry for making you wait, princess” he apologized

“No, no its f…”my stomach grumbled loud enough to cut me off mid-sentence.

He held his chuckle as my face burned with embarrassment

“let’s go down, the foods ready. The seafood here is mouthwatering” he assured  

He was right, the food sure was amazing.

 But the ride back home feels lonely. I would have loved to spent more time with him.

Time moves like a snail when I am bored but it sure runs like a cheetah when I am spending it with my favourite people.

“Princess, we are here” ash’s voice woke me up

I looked at the time, 10:45.

Maybe it was because I played too much in the beach or I had a full stomach or his comforting scent, I didn’t even realize when I dozed off.

I looked outside to see the mansion.

“Did they let you through the main gates?” I asked as I rubbed my eyes for clarity

“Yes, I have my ways” he winked at me.

I smiled

“Thank you for today ash” I said as I unbuckled my seatbelt.

“Thank you, princess, for making my day brighter” he smiled

That goddamn smile, makes every problem in my world disappear

“My pleasure” I said as I leaned onto him and gave a small peck on his cheeks

“See you later” I said as I closed the car door

I opened the entrance door and went inside as I heard him drive away.

“I hope I can lock the door now” dans voice startled me

“Yeah, you can” I said “grandma?”

“She’s asleep don’t worry” dan smiled “you should go and sleep. You can tell me about the date tomorrow.”

I smiled at him

The walk back to the room was tiring, it didn’t usually feel this long. I am sleepy to the point that If I could sleep on the floor I would have.

Ash would have carried me to the room. 

I fell onto my bed.

“Ah my bed, I never knew it was this soft” I mumbled

I dreamt about the date we had, the beach, the food, the peck I gave on his cheek….

My eyes flew open as the alarm went off.

I gave him a kiss?

Did I really give him a kiss? Why would I do that? What is wrong with me? What would he think of me? He would obviously think that I was desperate!!!!

Oh my god Kayda what have you done?

“ Aaaaahhh” I screamed onto my pillow

Meanwhile,

As you might’ve guessed, Ash is yet to recover from the shock of the kiss she gave him.

While ash is busy replaying the moments of the date (mostly the peck of course), His assistant secretary at rowan cooperation is busy wondering what is the reason for his good mood, a blessing upon the overworked poor employees that deals with his terror......
