A memory fades into Jacob's mind.
Terence: Friend, do you remember me? It's me, your best friend, Terence. I haven't seen you in so long. I feel that you're close . Dear friend, if you can hear me?

Birds chirping and flowers blooming fill the air. Jacob wakes up and looks around. From a distance, he hears a faint voice:
Terence: Hey Jacob, get up! You're always sleeping, huh? Seriously, for once, you can not sleep. It would do you some good to do more.
Jacob: Yeah, yeah, whatever. So what's the plan? What made you wake me up from my oh-so-great slumber?
Terence: We may not be real blood brothers, but I'm still your friend, so I came to warn you: the inspector is here.
Jacob takes a while to respond.
Jacob: Who again?
Terence: The inspector! Get up now and clean your room before he catches you, and you're on chore duty!
Jacob: Yeah, yeah, I'll be there in a bit. Remember, I almost always get chore duty.
Terence: That's because you're annoying, obnoxious, and mean.
Jacob: Ehh, I do what I can, you know.
Terence: Alright, funny man. What do I need to pry you off your rock for you to get up?
Jacob: Maybe if you hit me once with any of your attacks.
Terence throws a stick at Jacob.
Terence: Oh my, did I beat you with a stick? It must be embarrassing.
Jacob: Get back here. I'm going to hit you twice as hard with this stick, damnit!
Terence: Yeah, if you can catch me, bozo. See you!
Jacob and Terence chase each other around the orphanage.
Jacob: You know what, I'm not even upset anymore. I'm just in awe. Congratulations. You got me to move forward to the orphanage. How kind of you.
Terence: You fell for my trick. You also dropped your snacks, so guess what?
Jacob: What?
Terence: I hid them in your room. He he he he. Now you're going to need to clean to find them.
Jacob: Why are you like this?
Terence: Why are you always so lazy? The only thing in your vocabulary is sleep and more sleep since that's nearly the only thing you can do.
Jacob: One day, Terence, I'll get you back. I hope you know that.
Terence: That's the spirit!
A black void takes over the world.
The void begins to disappear.
Jacob: I cleaned my whole room. Now, where are my snacks? I CAN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE. I SEARCHED TOP TO BOTTOM!
Terence: Oh, your snacks? I had them the whole time.
Terence pulls up a bag of Lays chips.
Jacob: … GIVE THOSE BACK!
Jacob and Terence wrestle in the middle of the hallway.
Inspector: Ahem.
Terence stands at attention. Jacob grabs the Lays from Terence's hand and then walks off.
Inspector: Your friend is still the same?
Terence: Yeah. I think he needs to learn what work for change is.
Inspector: Oh well, I guess he's him. We can't change that, can we?
Terence: I guess we can't, huh? Oh well, I suppose.
Inspector: Talk to him. You're okay and dismissed.
Terence: Yes, inspector!
Terence walks off to Jacob's room. Opening the door, he witnesses Jacob training with his sword and shield.
Terence: Oh wow, I wish I had that kind of power. You're unique, Jacob!
Jacob: What? Everyone sees me as some kind of freak for having such things. Well, at least I can always count on you.
Terence: Guess what? The inspector is pleased. You cleaned your room for once.
Jacob: Well, I mean, just don't open the closet.
Terence: Why not?
The inspector walks in.
Inspector: Huh, Jacob. You have a clean room, beds, good floors, and even the desk is good. What a surprise. Now, all I need to do is check the closet...
Jacob: WAIT NO!
He opens the closet and is flooded with clothes and books.
Inspector: Never mind. He says weakly. At least you tried, Jacob.

Suddenly, a loud crash echoes through the air. Cars screech to a halt, and flames engulf the surrounding buildings. A thunderous bang reverberates from the front door as armed men wielding enchanted rifles swarm the building and Jacob's room.
"Soldier One: Secure the project!"
"Soldier Two: Yes, sir!"
"Inspector: We must go."
The inspector seizes Terence and Jacob's hands, dragging them toward a hidden underground passage. As they descend, the sounds of screams and gunshots intensify.
"Soldier One: DAMN IT, HE'S HERE! CONCENTRATE ALL FIRE ON THE ENEMY TARGET!"
A cacophony of gunfire erupts, drowning out all other sounds. Jacob is pulled through the inferno that engulfs the building. Explosions rock the air and the ground trembles beneath their feet.
Suddenly, an eerie silence descends. No one speaks, no one moves. It is as if nothing ever happened.
But then, a figure emerges from the shadows.
"Dr. Howard: I've found you, Project C. Now all I need is that damned soul, and I can control the entire all verse. So hand it over!"
The inspector steps forward, defiantly facing Dr. Howard.
"Inspector: You're not taking anything, Howard. You will leave this universe alone."
Dr. Howard sneers. "And what do you plan to do to stop me?"
"My power," the inspector replies.
With a surge of energy, the inspector summons hands of every color imaginable. Yellow hands hurl fireballs, blue hands form impenetrable shields, green hands unleash devastating explosions, purple hands conjure objects from thin air, and orange hands enable teleportation.
Dr. Howard scoffs. "Pathetic."
With a wave of his hand, Dr. Howard freezes the inspector.
"You know, Inspector," he says, "I never thought you'd develop feelings for anything in any universe. I don't know what these kids have done for you, but their soul is powerful."
Dr. Howard turns to Terence. "Are you Project C?"
Jacob's eyes blaze with fury. A red blade materializes in his hand, no smaller than a kitchen knife.
"Howard!" he snarls.
Dr. Howard releases Terence, his eyes widening in surprise.
"It's you," he murmurs.
"It doesn't matter whether you're a Teen," Dr. Howard says coldly. "I'm still going to take that soul from you."
Terence stands tall, his determination unwavering. He summons countless mirrors of pure light and then leaps into the air, focusing the sun's power onto Dr. Howard. Simultaneously, he conjures a shield to protect Jacob.
"All my life, I've always wanted to live in peace," Terence declares. "But for some reason, people like you always have to interfere. And I'm tired of it!"
The laser beam intensifies, melting everything in its path. Dr. Howard struggles to resist its immense power, but he is slowly being pushed back.
Terence pours more and more energy into the attack. The laser bores through the planet, creating a massive crater visible from space. The very fabric of reality is beginning to tear apart.
Terence screams in exertion, his body glowing with raw power. The laser beam reaches its peak, and then...
It cuts out.
Terence collapses to the ground, his strength spent. Dr. Howard emerges from the smoke unscathed.
"He he he he he," he laughs. "You thought you could kill me? I am far beyond your comprehension."
Dr. Howard's hand morphs into a sword. "And now, you die."
But before he can strike, a wormhole opens up beneath Jacob. He is sucked into its swirling vortex, and in an instant, he is gone.
Dr. Howard watches as the wormhole closes. "Remember, Project C," he says, "if you try the same thing, you will suffer the same fate."
He turns and walks away, leaving Terence's lifeless body behind.
Jacob is hurled through the wormhole, landing in a dense forest. He is disoriented and confused, but he is alive.

"I'll find you one day, Terence. Hold on, I won't forget. And I have yet to forget."
Imrage appears
Imrage: "Oh wow, you left that Alexander guy down to his last thought, huh?"
Jacob: "He was annoying, to say the least."
Imrage: "Well, I don't wanna be on the bad side of your angry mind."
Jacob: "Okay, now that one was just bad. But Imrage, I think I have one more person to recruit."
Imrage: "Really? And how is that? I can't wait to meet and add them to our team!"
Jacob: "He's a forgotten close friend. I need to look for him. He saved me, so I must return the favor."
Imrage: "Oh, so mending minds together."
Jacob: "Imrage, PLEASE LET ME BE SANE."
Imrage: "Well, you know how it is. So are you going to bring anyone to the recruitment?"
Jacob: "Soon, I plan on it."
Imrage: "What do we do with Alexander?"
Jacob: "Leave him there. I'm sure he will be back up soon. Also, take care of him meanwhile. I'll head out now."
Imrage: "Alright then, I'll see you, pal."
Jacob heads through a portal.
Jacob: "I can sense his presence here. Surely, I can find him somewhere around here."
Unknown: "STOP THERE!"
Jacob: "Wait, I'm here looking for someone!"
A ball of light summons Jacob, exploding. The unknown figure steps out from behind a tree.
Jacob: "Long time no see, friend."
Terence: "It's been a long time, no see. So, what exactly is up now? Why have you come here?"
Jacob: "I know it's been quite a while, but I need your help."
Terence: "After you left me, you think I'd help you?"
Jacob: "Yeah, listen, it's not my fault. I was somehow consumed by something that refused to let me check on you."
Terence: "So it's been so long, and you don't want to catch up just to fight?"
Jacob: "No, it's not that. I wouldn't be asking you if it wasn't for Dr. Howard."
Terence: "Is that the only reason you came, not to look for me?"
Jacob: "No, I didn't even remember you. Something had wiped my mind. Understanding this?"
Terence: "Well, I guess I can't complain. I don't remember you that much as well."
Jacob: "Wow, you yelled at me for no reason."
Terence: "Yeah?"
Jacob: "..."
"Well, you haven't changed at all. It's good to see you again. Let's take you to the team. You'll love to meet them."
Terence: "Great. Am I going to meet your creepy friends?"
Jacob: "I wish you were wrong. One's a swordsman, the other's a pyromaniac who's probably on something, and then we got a megalomaniac. Their names are Oscar, Paradoxical, and Alexander. And they aren't the best team, but it's all we got. We also have two people from different worlds as well. One is named Imrage, and the other is Chandra. However, one of them is... estranged. And Imrage is a pretty chill dude."
Terence: "I wanna fight the megalomaniac. I can't stand people whose sole purpose is power."
Jacob: "Well, you might have to wait because he's weakened. I fought him, and I'm pretty sure he's still under the effects of the fight."
Terence: "Give me some time; I promise I won't let up on him."
Jacob: "If you say so, man. He's quite powerful. He almost got me to my final form. I think he got me to my third. Remember, I have seven."
Terence: "Man, if this were an anime or book, you'd have too much plot armor."
Jacob: "But it's still not enough to find Dr. Howard and end his miserable life."
Terence: "That's why you need a team, right?"
Jacob: "Precisely. So, Terence, you will join, right?"
Terence: "Of course I will. I've been waiting for the day I
Get to see Howard again after what he did to the inspector. *They arrive in the all-verse.* Terence: Oh, you were right; that looks like Imrage. That's Chandra. The rest are umm... Dobster, Guy on Crack, and Super Swords. What wonders, am I right, Jacob?
Jacob: Ehh, yeah, sure.
Alexander: Wow, you left me for this dunce? You do realize you just left me in the forest destroyed, right?
Jacob: (Looks down upon Alexander) Ever try anything again or try to kill my friend, and next time, I'll assure you you're pure death. (His stare stops) Unless Terence starts it, of course.
Terence: Alexander, I want to fight. Did you know that I can control the sun? I could just put you down quickly.
Jacob: Try not to get cocky.
(Alexander stands back up)
Alexander: Continue to talk that way, and I'll put you under.
Terence: Yeah, whatever you say. If you lost to Jacob, you most likely lost to me.
Jacob: Alright, you two, well, we heard of anomalies sent to different universes to try and take them out. Our job is to wipe out those anomalies, and then after we kill them all, we finally reach Dr. Howard. So the teams are Oscar and Imrage, Jacob and Chandra, Terence and Alexander. Are we all clear?
Imrage: I hope you've got a real sense of humor.
Oscar: I have the mind to do it.
(Both chuckle together)
Jacob: Well, I guess you're with me, Chandra. Though please try not to kill me.
Chandra: Of course, why would I kill my ally? There are not many reasons for doing such things.
Jacob: Paradox stays; we can't necessarily trust him because of that one time he almost used a nuclear arm against a Monopoly board game he lost. The writer knows what he's capable of.
Alexander: No, I'll take him with us. I don't want to be with Terence.
Terence: Yes, we can take an extra person, you know, so we don't fight because I want to punch this guy Haymaker hard right now.
Jacob: There is no time. All these threats must be executed; though we are small, it's our job. But remember, these are universal threats, all versal puppets to Dr. Howard. So be; they are more capable than you think.
(Terence steps up)
Terence: This is nothing I can't handle!
Alexander: WHY AM I WITH HIMMMMM?
(He whines)
Jacob: That's what i jlk
“said. Plus, you're an already grown person. Act like one.
Imrage: Alright, everyone. You've each been granted a teleportation device that Paradox helped me make. It can be either a nuclear tsar bomb or a pretty decent teleporter. It's up to you to decide.
Oscar: We'll go first. If we explode, well, we'll figure something out then.
Imrage and Oscar click the device and disappear in a flash of light.
Chandra and Jacob follow.
Terence and Alexander argue over who uses the device first.
Paradox: HURRY UP! IT'S GOING TO BOOM!
Alexander and Terence stare at each other momentarily, then start rapidly clicking the button as the countdown goes down. It works, and they are teleported away.
