I have returned! (but Arthur still hasn't......... YET.)

A bit of a diary entry below:

I've been going through a bit of a rough patch as a creator/burnt-out art school adult for a while now, which is why I've been on break. I graduated SVA in 2019 and have a lot of built up career expectations for myself that I have yet to meet. Sometimes I doubt if I can ever actually meet them, (and if it's even worth it anymore to try) even though I still love making comics and reading them.

I've loved BBC Merlin for over a decade, so if there's any comic I could do that would help me grow and force me to try being a solo artist, it's a Merlin comic. I want to look back at this and feel really happy I kept going one day. Thank everyone for encouraging me, it makes me feel like I can do anything I put my mind to. Looking back on the comments here and on Tumblr/Instagram has made me very happy in ways I forget I am capable of feeling.

Was so excited that a new page popped up! Let it be known your work is gorgeous and you absolutely have what it takes to make it as an artist! Hope you feel good coming back now and can have fun with it but without burning yourself out anymore. Will be here and excited for a new page when it comes but take your time, it's worth any wait you need
