The advisor scoffed as he walked away. "She won't make it very far."
"So, are you going to put the knife away, or are you going to stab me with it," Francis said, ignoring the advisor.
Leah slowly put the knife down, but keeping her eyes on Francis.
"Good, now, we can all go eat."
Over the next 10 years, Leah was trained to sneak, steal, defense, and stealth. When she couldn't do it or she messed up, she was beaten and sent away with no food but she thought that she owes him her life because he saved hers. She was never showed real love from anyone.
Leah is now 16 with hazel eyes and long brown hair with her bangs covering one of her eyes because she had a scar going down it. She wears a black jumpsuit and mask with a dark gray belt with a knife. She has many scars from fighting and abuse, but the largest being the one on her back from the gunshot. Leah is terrified of guns, which is why she has a knife instead.
One day, while Leah is training in her room, she heard the front door of the hideout slam open and gunshots, which scares her. When she peeks out her door, the police was arresting people. She started to panic, so she darted out of her room but a few police officers saw her and started to chase her. She started to knock things over to slow them down but where she was beaten that morning, her legs were sore, so she couldn't run as fast as she normally could. All of a sudden, Leah got shot in the leg and fell. She managed to hide before the police officers got there.
"Where'd they go?" One of them said.
"Probably ran off somewhere, we'll find them from the tattoo on their back."
Luckily, Leah never got the tattoo, because she didn't want it.
"Let's go help the others," they said as they turned around and left.
A young girl gets caught trying to steal from a famous gang but she interests the leader, causing him to raise her, teaching her how to be like them.
