Starting off on a slow day at the Jumpstart cafe, two twins, one with jet black hair and one with golden hair down below the shoulders. Danni and Nikki took orders for what few customers stopped by today. With some free time, they stood by the kitchen door chatting as they waited for more customers to come in.

Nikki-“ How’s school going?”

Danni-“ Long, I don’t think I have enough money for books. So I’m thinking about getting a second job.”

Nikki-“We, we can find another job, I can try that bouquet down the road and you can get a job at that new bookstore that just opened.”

Danni-“ Alright.”

The twins continue to talk; outside of the cafe, two men walk down the sidewalk towards the cafe, having what seems to be a friendly conversation. The two men are rather peculiar looking together, one tall and wide hair covering his face while the other slim with white hair. 

Alex-“ Killian, aren't you glad to have a friend like me?"

Killian-“....Alex, I’m close to slapping you. no more Disney or any other references, I already regret asking about last night's movie..”

Alex-“ But it’s so exciting.. musicals are my passion."

Killian-“ Yeah, I get that, anyway, where are we going? You dragged me out with no explanation.”

Alex- “ Oh I have a reason. We're going to a cafe nearby."

Killian-“ ..k……………………..wait, what's the reason?”

Alex- “ We have arrived!"

Arriving at the Jumpstart, Alex walks in twirling his cane as Killian follows behind. Alex stops, leaving Killian huffing under his breath, regretting he joined him.

Alex-“ Hello Ladies and Gents! A prince has arrived."

Standing there he bows and smiles as the attention is drawn to him, leaving Killian in embarrassment as he covers his mouth with hand.

Killian- “..not this again..” 

As Killian grumbles under his breath. Danni ,the twin with the dark hair, takes them to a table then leaves, having Nikki take their order.

Nikki- “ How can I help you?”

Alex- “ Hello, two black coffees and one croissant . Please ."

Nikki- “ Two black coffees, and butter with the croissant?”

Alex-“Yes, just black coffee and no butter."

Nikki- “ Okay, my sister will be right out with it.”

Alex- “ Thank you ."

Nikki- “ You’re welcome.”

As Nikki leaves giving Danni the order, Killian leans back in the chair staring at Danni and Nikki, regrettably groans under his breath. After a minute or two Danni comes out with their order.

Danni-“ Anything else? Change your mind on the butter?”

Alex-“ No, thank you."

Danni-“ Cool bye. Have a good day.” 

Killian continues to glance at the twins periodically, getting a twisted feeling in his stomach; yet he stares at Danni the most. He and Alex finish up, leaving a tip they head back to Killian's place.

Killian-“ I think I’ve m-met that gothic looking chick before…”

Alex-“ How so?”

Killian-“ I startled her by falling out of a tree on campus a while back ago..”

Alex-“ Did you apologize at least?"

Killian-“ Nah.”

Alex-“ Well that's quite rude."

Killian-“whatever, I guess..”

Continuing walking down the street, Killian goes silent thinking back on where else he’s seen those two twins. At the cafe, Danni and Nikki head out after clocking out.

Danni-“ That guy looked oddly familiar, the one with long hair.”

Nikki-“ I don’t know, we see a lot of people around here.” 

The twins continue a different conversation as they walk home.

Being said that was the very “first” encounter of those four, not knowing they will become more than a customer and worker towards each other. Only to pass by one another at times only to smile to be polite, perhaps evening meeting before not knowing who they are or what they are like. Now time waits for all of them to meet, only to see what will become of them once they do, or once they grow into a family. What will await them in the future, will they last? Or will they rip apart? Furthermore they will gain trust, growing with each other everyday. As they figure out what their pasts will bring up in their lives, they know of nothing that will happen nor will they understand until the proper time is placed for. The universe brought them together, and now they will wait and see what’ll come of them.
