In the middle of the city having everything else circle around is the college campus. Danni sits in a tree during lunch working on a paper about water snakes, until she’s startled by a stranger, (new character) Brandy climbs up the same tree where Danni sits. Sitting next her as he pulls out fresh leaves from his pocket, probably off a tree and begins to eat them.

Danni- “ …...Hi?..”

Brandy- “ Hey Danni, didn’t see you.”

Danni- “ How do you know me?”

Brandy- “ We have a fourth period together? you know bio study?”

Danni- “ Oh right, sorry you’re Brandy? I don’t really pay attention to people.”

Looking at this guy, Danni thinks to herself [“ This guy looks familiar, other than class. But for some reason I don’t recall him.”]

Brandy-  “ That’s fine. I’m the weird guy around here anyways.”

Danni- “ Do you just eat leaves? Cause I have a salad in my bag, just vegetables, nothing else.”

Brandy- “ .. Nah it’s fine. Got any pepper or salt by chance?”

Danni- “ I have ranch dressing, is that okay?”

Brandy- “ Nah sorry, can’t have that.”

Danni- “ Oh okay, I have some crackers.”

Brandy- “ Nah it’s fine.. Well that’s my lunch, I gotta go. Oh by the way good job on getting the part, Veronica!”

Danni- “ How’d you know that?”

Jumping down the tree without answering Danni’s question, Brandy runs off as Danni stares down his way in confusion.

Danni-” Oh.. well thanks!”

Thinking to herself again mid thought she finally recalls him, [“ Ah right freshman year….”]. School hours go by, when Danni gets home she sees a note from Nikki has left saying “I had to take another shift, one of the girls called in sick.” She sighs, as she makes food for the night.

Danni- “ Okay… I’m bored.”

Getting out her phone, she messages all the guys.

<Danni-“Anyone wanna hang out?”>

<Jacob “ Yes”>

<Zach “ I’m at work, I'll text later”> 

<Killian  “ Alex needs you two at the theater.”>

<Jacob “ That’s today??”>

<Danni” I didn’t get a notification.”>

<Killian “ just get here.”>

(End of messages) 

Both Danni and Jacob run towards the Maine theater (Danni texts Nikki “ I’m at the Theater, so if I’m not home by the time you are, that's where I am”).

At the Theater: 

Arriving at the Maine theater both Danni and Jacob get inside out of breath seeing Alex with his hands on his hips, while Killian leans against the wall.

Danni- “ Hello..” 

Jacob- “ Hey..” 

Alex- “ Where Have You Two Been?”

Danni- “ We didn’t get anything.”

Alex- “Didn’t you two get my digital letters?”

Jacob- “ Sorry buddy you didn’t.”

Killian- “You really need to learn how to work phones.”

Alex whines seeing Killian groan. As all of the actors go through scenes one and two , practicing the songs; Brandy shows up and starts talking to some of the workers, Danni stops, eyeing Brandy.

Danni- “ That’s how you knew!”

Jacob looks at Danni confused as of why she shouted out of nowhere while Alex was startled by the loud voice. Pointing towards the hippie looking dude across the room, who looks at her then stares at Killian and walks over.

Brandy- “ Sup Danni! I was wondering where you guys were, I need your measurements.”

Danni- “ You work here?”

He stops in front of them as he pulls out a measuring tape, as well his sketch book. Killian looks off to the side avoiding eye contact with Brandy who glances at him smirking then flips his book open to a clean page.

Brandy- “ Yep, I’m Brandy I make the costume and help with props here.”

Jacob- “ Hi, I’m Jacob,”

Brandy- “ I know…. J.D.”

Giving Jacob a wink as he begins to sketch out their body shape onto the paper, he looks up at Jacob again and gives him a smirk and wink again.

Jacob- “ What are you doing?”

Brandy- “ I’m winking.”

Jacob- “ Why?”

Brandy- “ For fun.”

Danni- “ Okay, measurements I guess?”

Brandy lays down his book and pencil and begins to measure both of them as he writes down the measurements while sketching out the costume. Not long after he’s  done they begin to go through scenes three and four.

Brandy- “ So Alex it’s been awhile since you’ve acted, hate to miss out on some good acts.”

Alex-” Oh yes, I’m on a break right now helping new recruits. Your costumes are well done as usual.”

Brandy- “ Thanks , I put all of my vegan powers into them.”

Alex- “ Quite true. Killian is here today.”

Brandy- “ I noticed. been a while, quiet man.”  

Putting out his fist Brandy smirks at Killian who sighs and lightly fist pumps Brandy. Though Killian turns his gaze away, then back to Brandy who stares at him.

Killian- “what?”

Brandy- Just glad to meet new people, and some old buddies.”

Killian-“ k.”

Brandy- “You ever gonna let me dress you up one day?.”

Killian- “ … no.”

Brandy- “ You’re no fun these days.”

Alex- “ I’m sure Killian will let you do so one day.”

Scenes three and four are finished, the rehearsal ends around late 6P.M. As the five stay a bit late after, since Alex has to lock up just as others clean up from rehearsals.

Danni- “ I like!”

Jacob- “ Looking hot, buying clothes, they can not!”

Danni- “ I like!”

Jacob- “ Maxing dad's credit card!” 

Brandy- “ Whoa! Singing some heathers!

Danni- “ Okay okay, Test! ‘ All is forgiven, baby come out and get dressed!”

Brandy- “ You’re my date to the preporally tonight!”

Alex- “ What a wonderful atmosphere.”

Killian- “too noisy.”

After a while Danni, Jacob, and Brandy continue to make Heather references, as eight o’clock turns and everyone heads out to leave for home. Alex and Killian leave to go home and finish unpacking.

Brandy- “ Looks like I found my dinner tonight. Anyone have salt or pepper?”

Danni- “ I brought some this time!”

Brandy- “ Wait really?” 

Jacob- “ What?”

Danni- “ Don’t worry it’s normal.”

Brandy- “ Well, bye thanks for the salt and pepper!”

Danni- “ You’re welcome .”

Picking some leaves off the nearby tree of the theater, Brandy carries the small packets of salt and pepper in his pocket and takes off waving bye. Danni turns to Jacob, as they both neglect to see Brandy turning to the back of the theater near the woods.

Danni-“ Want to go out to eat?”

Jacob- “ Yeah.”

They both go to a small food joint as they eat, they continue to talk about the script, after they pay and head home.
